Scribe is the most intuitive outliner on the Mac.
Scribe is light-weight and simple. It has a clean, uncluttered interface. It gets out of your way, letting you get your ideas down faster.
You can also record audio while outlining. Jump to any point in the audio from any point in the text or visa versa. It's great for making sure you don't miss anything.
We think it's beautiful and hope that you do, too.

Great Support, Great App !! - Having downloaded this app to aid in the writting of the outline notes for my dissertation I found it to work well. While using the app, I caused it to crash. When I contacted the software developer, I was met with a genuine concern for the problem, as well as, a sincere willingness to solve the issue. I provided the development team with the information regarding how I was using the app at the time of its crash. Through several emails, all of which were responded to in a very quick and timely manner, we were able to correct the issue. I have continued to use this app without failure since, and am very happy with its performance. This is a grat app, however, it is the customer service and support that sets this app and the developers apart from the rest. These developers truly emulate the concept of the Mac lifestyle and its open, user driven approach to problem solving and development. Steve would be proud !
Sorry, but this app isn't ready - I bought this app because I'm a nut for any type of outliner. Disappointing. It's true that it is pretty easy to hammer out an outline hierarchy, but after that things fall apart. There is no way to export your outline that I can see (other than cut and paste). You can't change the labeling style. You can't apply type styles by level. It has an unusual method for managing font styles, which I had difficulty figuring out. After playing with the styles a bit, I ended up with garbled looking text. Select Help from the menu and the dialog box says it all: "Help isn't available for Scribe." Maybe this app will evolve, but don't waste your money on it now.

Lee Human - Scribe is simple, clean and potentially a useful, intuitive outliner. However previous versions have been buggy and customer support, at least for me, poorly responsive. The current version is basically incompatible with El Capitan with frequent, unexpected crashes. Attempts to reach customer support to find out whether an updated version will be available have been unsuccessful; perhaps the application is no longer being supported. At any rate I have abandoned the program and switched to Cloud Outliner which, so far, works nicely with El Capitan and has the advantage of having an iPhone version with the ability to sync with the Mac application.
Sooo Sloooow - I have fully loaded MacBook pro with i7 and 16 gigs of ram and Scrible is very on 38Kb file. I need to finish the doc, but I can’t.
Older Version fo 10.9 Fails to Install - Since this 10.10 version came out. The app store now fails to install the older version on 10.9. You get the prompt, then it just doesn't download anything or install the older version,
