Wanna grab a picture of your screen? How about a video of it? Screener is a straight forward screen capture utility that lives in your menu bar. It's fast, easy, out of the way and gets the job done! Screener supports global shortcuts that may be configured by you. Use it from the menu or by pressing the shortcuts... it works from any app. It's there when you want it and out of the way when you don't.

Best $5 I’ve spent on the app store - This app just does exactly what it says. You can make custom shortcuts to take any kind of screen capture you want (Full Screen, Selected Area drawn with crosshairs, Single Window), and send it to any destination. FYI, this works well in Parallels also. If you are running Windows in Parallels, just use the regular shortcut that you’ve setup on the Mac side and it will copy the screenshot and the screenshot can be used in both the MacOS and Windows clipboards (as long as you have the clipboards shared). This has put an end to my screenshot woes!

I just couldn’t figure out how to use it. - Not intuitive for this fairly tech savvy person. No directions, and support leads to another Web site. Uninstalled. :-(
