Nearly unusable. Stay away! - When you first launch a ruler, for some reason it starts as if you have already clicked one of the sliders. The sliders should be click-and-drag, not click-to-stop-dragging. Should have an option to keep the ruler on top of other applications. Because you have to click to stop dragging the sliders, if you click anywhere outside the actual ruler--for example, within the image you're trying to measure--the ruler disappears! The ruler also does not play well with Spaces. It doesn't go to a new space when you select it and cmd-# to a new space. After a few minutes of use it produces a spinning beachball and slows down. Stay away!

One Extremely Bad Bug - This would be a great, inexpensive app if it wasn't for it's inability to properly recognize the difference between a mouse-down event and a mouse-up event. Whenever I let go of one of the markers and then move the mouse, the app did not realize I let up on the mouse and the marker continues to follow the cursor. The whole point of this app is for the marker to stay in place once I let go of it. Because it doesn't recognize when I let go, I can only ever move one marker. What is the point then?

slowdown - 1. It has the great design, so it is near A+ 2. But bad implementation: I created just two rulers - vertical and horizontal and app was really slowdown like Java on really old Power PC... 3. Developer must read AHIG first, from A to Z. Ie - two Ruler items in the main menu looks ugly... no possibility to: a) Close active ruler from keyboard b) Create a new ruler from keyboard ... Great idea but major improvement required.

Finally...! - Safari has an extension available that has a similar ruler, but often I'm either in Firefox or Chrome and without a ruler. Now I have one, and am excited, and best yet--its even better than the extension version in safari!! Thanks guys!! I'm revising my original review & dropped it down a star...sorry, but I have noticed one annoying thing since I've started using this on a daily basis. When I choose the vertical ruler, the numbers are also verticle (to simulate the real ruler its emulating) but the numbers being verticle are hard to read, especially on high resolution monitors. While its nice to have the verticle ruler--I'm finding this one issue to be a big annoyance. Other than that, yes, I do find it to be a useful tool.

Hardly Usable - The rulers should be click and drag, not move on mouse over. I couldn't get a single measurement because everytime I had it set, the ruler would just jump to where I moved my mouse.
