Overall Rating: D - I rescind my previous evaluation. Do not buy this app under any circumstances. Recordings are of a poor quality. Instead, buy iRecordMusic from BitCartel. Works flawlessly. Worth every penny. (AND: there is a fully funcional trial version that you can download with no time expiration, but a per-recording time limit of 15 minutes) This app, on the other hand, would not be worth it even if it were free.

Audio Recorder - I was unable ever to get this application to work. It is necessary to download another driver to implement the program to even get to first base. Very disappointing

You get what you pay for - I don’t consider myself computer challanged, but I felt that way trying to get this app to work. Infact, after many installations, and over an hour and a half, I still can’t get it to work. It came up with some gibberish in a dialog box that said it is not working with the Mac’s Midi Setup App. Unless support can come back with something solid, I think Audio Hijack Pro is in my future. The trial version always performed well, was seamless in it’s integration and is everything this app is not. The only problem is it runs $42 more than Ripcorder. But sometimes you just have to pay the premium. Right now I would say don’t throw $8 down the drain, you’ll hate yourself in the morning and still be without a good system audio recorder. Next time I will read the reviews. Apple, how do I get my money back?
