Publisher Pro for Word 2008+ great templates - read the caveat and instructions in my review. - If you are looking for a starting point for a newsletter, magazine, newspaper, or annual report for Microsoft Word 2008 or newer, AND you like the designs shown in the app info, the $10 you will spend on this is well worth it. The files are in .dotx format and images are in .png format. If you have Pages, Open Office, or something else that is primarily associated with .dotx files, you will need to change your file associations OR right-click on the Publisher Pro application, choose show package contents and find the actual files under "Resources", right click and choose "open with.." Microsoft Word. I think the author of these templates didn't account for the fact that people may have different apps (like Pages) associated with .dotx files. A suggestion for the author would be to add a button when you launch the program to "Show Files", "Export Files" or "OPen Files with..". I had installed Open Office at open point and when I first clicked on the templates, they launched in Open Office and didn't render properly at all. Once I found the actual template files and opened them with Word it worked fine. I am running Word 2008 and all templates were flawless.

Terrible - I downloaded this because it looked like it had some beautiful templates I could use to write newsletters and reports for my organization. Some of the templates would not even open at all and the ones that did open did not work. I could change out pictures and some titles but there was no way to enter my own content. Waste of money. I want a refund.

No longer working - After spending many hours to create documents and a newsletter I received messages like: 1. "The document “Please join me in congratulating the newest member of a growing list of distinguished Corporate Executive Coaches who have earned the designation of MCEC-1.docx” could not be opened. Publisher Pro for Word cannot open files in the “Office Open XML word processing document” format.” or 2. "file cannot be opened due to size." The fact is the app just does not work any longer …by the way even the support link does not work. What a disappointment! A lot of waisted time and money ..time spent creating documents and money spent trying to figure out why the app crashes .

Publisher Pro - I was needing it to make a brochure for school. I dowloaded templates and they would not let me edit them. It also wouldn’t let me save them properly and edit them once they were saved. It is a waste of money. I’d like a refund.
