My new super power!!! - I read the only 1 other review and decide to take a chance. I use all kinds of project management software, but at the end of the day I have files in DropBox, on my desktop, in my document folders, on websites, and in emails. I now have links to my project folders, importnat emails, a customsed desktop picture corisponding to my client's location, and so much more, for every project I have going on. The best yet, is that it is so crazy fast to switch between desktops. I am not a programer, I don't work for this company, I just stumbled accross this jewel and I want others to know how amazing it really is.

A challenging visual task. The prose descriptions are puzzles?. - I'm certain that with sufficient time and dedication what's going on and how it is done can be determined. I didn't expect the description of the package to be such a very time consuming operation. With QuickTime7 one can slow down the sleight of hand of the "usage demo" but the low resolution of the images are nearly impossible to deal with. Some of the textual descriptions are notoriously ambiguous, what does "open non active ones in Finder" mean? Will deleting this application get this confused novice user "back to normal" with no lost or "hidden" files? I am not a puzzle fan! So my $15 is a loss. And, now I'm skeptical of Apple's analysis of its offerings.

It was either going to be a 1 or 5 star app... - I have the feeling it will become a 5-star app down the road, but since it just corrupted/deleted/moved all of my important BoxCryptor/Dropbox files I need to give it a 0 for now. Be very careful with symlinks and such on your desktop. This app otherwise has great promise, but corrupting and deleting data is the worst type of bug! Please do better testing and test edge cases. Also I think you’ll want to be very careful when switching desktops to first make sure that you don’t have any files open that are on/in the desktop.

Buggy - The core concept of the app worked for me, but parts of it were very buggy. It would change the desktop background at random aftere it launched. It acted as though the background that was set upon the apps first run was the only one it was capable of indexing. Going to delete and reinstall. If it does not fix the problem, then Project Desktop will gone for good.
