Plan Friday is a tool for automating the process of creating lesson plans. It was created by a teacher to take care of the more mundane aspects of planning, freeing you to concentrate on more creative tasks.
Plan Friday isn't just a grid onto which you can enter your plans. Its power lies in its ability to create much of the content for you. This automation is accomplished using templates and auto-increment lists.
Templates allow you to define what typical activities, time blocks, schedules, and weeks look like. You then use these templates to create plans. The templates outline the basic structure of your plans; you just need to fill in the details and exceptions.
Auto-increment lists provide a mechanism for planning a series of related lessons. You build a list of the lessons, then Plan Friday will automatically place the next lesson on your plans.
Plan Friday offers more than you get from using a word processing or spreadsheet program. Don't just use your computer to create lesson plans: Let Plan Friday automatically generate much of the lesson plan content for you.

Most Helpful Reviews
Good lesson planning program. - Just what I have been looking for, at a good price. Very easy to use, once you get familiar with creating the templates. AWESOME and super-fast tech support. However, I would like to see an activity template that would allow the main headings to be edited or customized. Some administrators want to see specific items in the reports they receive, and this could vary by school. Overall, a great program. Looking forward to more updates and improvements!
