Piezo makes it a snap to record audio on your Mac. With just a few clicks, you can record audio from almost any application, or from audio input devices like microphones. Piezo's great for recording from VoIP applications like Skype well. Save conversations or interviews for podcasts.
Piezo requires almost no configuration, and it's a blast to use!

Very good, but a few suggestions. - This is a very well designed application at an excellent price point. The interface is clean and simple and it does the job well. I do have a few suggestions however: First, it would be nice to have access to the app from the menubar, to be able to quickly start/stop recording in full screen apps. Second, a "pause recording" button would be enormously beneficial. I record many radio shows with regular commercial interruptions and I'd like to be able to pause/unpause the recording so that it continues to record to one file. As it stands, I have to stitch numerous audio files together, which is a hassle. Third, can you please add the "Spoken Word" mp3 option to recordings so that we can minimize file size for long talk shows. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
Was great till they killed Safari - Updated took away recoding audio through Safari. I do not recommend at all.

Great except for No Safari Support - This does exactly what it says it does quickly and easily at a decent price point… It simplifies and enables recording sound on your Mac from a variety of sources except Safari, which is a frustrating and baffling limitation. Luckily, it does work with Chrome and otherwise does what I need.
Great little app! - Works great, looks great. Does exactly what it says it does on the tin. :-)
No Face Time Support - Despite dipsalying the Face Time icon on their logo, it does not work with Face Time, dissapointed with this issue.
Horrible Recording App - This app introduces digital artifacts on the recording, not worth the $18.99 I just spent. Simply awful.
Piezo works fine with Skype - Would have given 5 stars but I could not get it to work with MagicJack, MJ app crashed. iMac 24 inch, OSX 10.8.5. Switched to Skype and the recording sounds fine. To be fair, this is my first time and the recoding mighthave soundd even better if I changed the setting from "music" to "spoken word".
