Great musical relief during long workdays! - I am not a full-time 'proper' musician, but have been playing piano and other instruments my whole life. This is a great tool for helping me stay in touch with my musical side. No computer could ever replace the real thing, but it is a great option whenever I don't have access to my own instruments at home. I have used this most often this while on the road, at work, and at coffee shops as a mental break. It has also come in handy before performances as a quick stress relief :-) The new interface is much more intuitive and easy to use for two-handed playing too!

Not what I hoped for - I purchased this app about 2 weeks ago. I was looking for a solution to accomplishing small musical tasks in a small space. As I began my first task, taking into account that I would have to get used to this format, I quickly learned to my frustration that the middle octave is spread over three rows of computer keys with Middle C being the letter O. It is counterintuitive and takes too long to play any kind of melodic line over that space, even using two hands. For instance, starting on third line Bb, if you want to play Bb, A, F, G, C, D (note sequence of an actual melody) you have to play D, X, ], Z,O, P. After several uses, I'm still frustrasted. To add to the disappointment, the app is listed as being on sale and I was charged full price.
