Simply incredible. Keep it up! - This app is the only thing a photographer will ever need. I’ve tried almost EVERY photography app available for Mac, both in and out of the App Store. Everything from free open source stuff to the big bad Adobe Lightroom. Everything I’ve tried so far has been plagued by one of two things: 1. missing features 2. clunky, complicated UI. Photoscape X is the best of both worlds. It perfectly blends all the best pro features (lens correction, RAW support, masking brushes, etc.) with the fun basic features (light/color correction, frames, quick filters, etc.). The built-in printing features are priceless too! The free version is almost complete and will serve the majority of beginners. I opted to pay the $29 for the extra pro features. I can honeslty say it was well worth the money. In fact, I would probably feel the same even if I paid over $100. This app has all the feautres I used in Lightroom wrapped up in a far cleaner UI. Best part is, I no longer have to pay the devil, I mean Adobe, an insane $10/mo subscription. This app just keeps getting better with each update! Keep up the absolutely incredible work, guys!

Version 2.2

Used to Be the Best App out There - A few months ago I sent the developers of Photoscape X a long email detailing how much I “loved” the app they made—it was incredible. I was on it once a day at least, and everything worked perfectly. Making icons through Photoscape used to be a relaxing activity for me. Until the app started to crash unexpectedly. ALL of the time. Thusly, I updated the app. This recent update has made this app INFURIATING. The last update ( not the current one ) had convenient boxes that were easy to use, had features that now have to be paid for, and had an interface that was aesthetically pleasing. This new one has colouring editors in seperate tabs, removed a frame that I used on almost all of my icons, and is more challenging in general, I think, to use. I would give a limb to have the last update back. Truly. A de-installation will be ensuting, and I am disheartened. Now I have to find a new editor.

All I Use - This product is absolutely amazing. I love how much you can do and so easily. I didn’t have to but the full thing, although I will because I love the product and the amount of extra features you have just doubles. This application is easy to learn how to do without researching or looking it up. Just playing around to figure it out, is all I have done and the possibilities are endless. It is my favorite and my absolute go-to app for photo editing, graphic creating/altering, collage making and tons more. I made my engagement announcements through this basically graphics from google images and my photographs and basically did a simple collage. Like I said, I am not a pro, but the Save the Date Announcement looks amazing and so professional. It doesn’t look like anything I would have done myself. I’m so thrilled with this app, I just had to share how wonderful it is and the layout is so simple. I highly reccomend this app to anybody who does any kind of editing of any sort. It is AWESOME!

No lasso tool! - This program does not allow you to select specific pixels to cut out from a photo. You are limited to being able to use set shapes to crop. Very annoying that I paid for the Pro version and had to experiment for almost half an hour in the absence of any help documentation whatsoever in order to figure this out!

wow - I was using PicMonkey and ever since they want us to pay for the most basic edit job i started looking for something that I could use, and lo and behold. I found this, the interface is so easy to navigate and the everything is pretty much self explanatory. Thanks guys! If I really like it im thinking of buying the Pro Version down the road!

Amazing Photo Editor! - I really needed a good photo editor so I decided to download the free version of Photoscape X. I was so impressed by all the features that it offered and how easy it was to use. After using it for a few days I decided to buy the PRO version of the application and when I did it added so many more useful features that are blocked from the free version. My favorite PRO tool is the clone stamp and that tool has made so many of my images look even better becuase of its ability to remove unwanted things or duplicate them! A nice addition is if you dont know how to do something then they have videos for you to watch like tutorials! I highly reccomend this app to anyone that needs to edit photos it free and all the features you get are phenomenal.

i am very impressed - much easier to use than illustrator. no lag, no bugs, no downside. beautiful filters, & the ones u have to pay for is really just overkill. U can use the editing options to create similar filters. so much upside with this. thank you very much.
