PDFactory - your PDF toolbox.

Using Drag & Drop you are able to re-order the pages, to insert and remove them and to drag pages from one document to another. Additionally you can split and (re-)merge PDF documents easily.

The innovative Drop Box lets you convert your pictures into PDF documents - simply by dragging them from the Finder into PDFactory.

And most exciting is the ability to copy with one click the entire text content of the document or of pages into the clipboard to use them in other applications.

Great App At Huge Savings - I bought this app AFTER buying several others for manipulating PDF docs. Wish I had bought this one first! The others total over $100 to do what I can do with this one for less than 5 bucks! I scan my magazines and save them as PDF after I read them so I have them later for reference without hanging onto the paper. My scanner will handle 25 sheets in a stack, so a magazine usually ends up being 3 or 4 PDF files. I just wanted to.. 1) Rotate pages that scan in upside down or sideways. (It happens, weird but it happens) 2) Merge the 3 or 4 files into 1 complete PDF per magazine. This app does both jobs easily. It is even easier to use than another program that costs about $50 US. And that program won't rotate pages so I have another program that I was using to rotate first, then I had to EXPORT back to PDF format, open in app #2 and merge the files there. This program does ALL those tricks and does it easier and WAY cheaper. Good job! I will look for other programs by this company.

Deletes text from pdfs and freezes - This app deletes all the text you might have added to your pdf and there's no possibility to recover it unless you have a backup of it. Also every time I want to work on a new file I have to close and open the app again or it just freezes. Not recommended.

5k Retina Display - I have been using this app for awhile and it does everything I need it to do. Copying and pasting pages is a real time saver! The app does not work correctly on my 5K Retina iMac using 10.12 It does work fine on my non 5K Macs running 10.12 On the 5K it merges 3 or 4 pages together and you can not sort unless you zoom in and zoom out but that usually makes the app crash. I would love to give it 5 stars but I just need it to work correctly on the Retina display.

Lots of visual glitches, few benefits over Preview.app - So I downloaded this to rotate and merge some PDFs as I scanned in a lot of documents. The app is glitchy and doesn’t look super good. The previews of the PDF have to be resized as a big tiled list, and there are a lot of rendering glitches with the display of the thumbnails. I fidgeted with Preview, the one that comes with the operating system, a bit more and discovered that if you show the sidebar you can drag more PDFs into a file to merge them. You can also rotate and annotate PDFs there too. It’s much better than this. I’m not satisfied with my purchase. I should have tried more things with Preview before reaching into my wallet for a solution.

Need to sort randomly placed PDF pages? - You can't really do much better than PDFactory. This app makes me glad that the App Store exists. I never would have found it using Google as Google never associated PDFactory with a page sorter. PDFactory works very well. I'd like to see the addition of the ability to sort on a fixed location's string of text. That is, select the fixed field location on a page with a box, perhaps. Then sort a range of pages that have text in that location alphabetically using the strings that are at that box location on every page in the sort range. Thanks for the app. It's really helpful!
