Great - Does exactly what it is supposed to, quickly and well. For those who comlpain that it doesn't give support for scanned doccuments, it says it doesn't, so don't complain.
Complete Waste - I just purchased this and tried it on two different pdfs. All I got were blank pages. What a compelte waste of money.

It Doesn't Work - I tried this -It just doesn't work. The text file it creates is blank. Absolutely worthless. Clearly, you get what you pay for...
Worked beautifully with huge document - 1100-page book PDF, in spreads, with all kinds of formats, footnotes, tables, illustrations. Extracted the text all right, lightning fast. [Could it be that those getting blank documents are feeding it non-text PDFs —bitmaps?]
Yes, it works. - My experience was good and I can confirm that it did a nice job of maintaining columns that other solutions I tried did not. My guess is that those having trouble with the app might be trying to extract text which is actually an image.
Not good for multi-column pdf files - I tried it on a three column pdf file and the results were awful. It appears to have read across the sheet from left to right as if there were no columns and then indented at each column. Totally useless for multicolumn pdf documents. I gave it two stars because it might work okay for single column pdf files but I didn’t bother trying it because I needed it for multi-column pdf files.
Works as advertised - It worked fine, converted hundreds of PDF text documents to plain text in an instant. My guess is those who said it didn't work didn't use PDF text documents but actual images, perhaps scanned documents. OCR is out of scope of this small app.
