Description:

NoteCard is your Macs visual note taking studio inspired from Stickies - the venerable Mac classic for notes! NoteCard keeps your notes organized the way you like and readily available so you're more productive and inspired to write down your ideas.

What makes NoteCard different from other text editors and sticky note apps on the Mac? NoteCard lets you: make tabbed cards, stack cards in groups, add pages to cards, store cards in sheets for quick access and a full screen editing environment called Reader.

Do you use multiple Macs? NoteCard is fully compatible with Dropbox so you can sync across all your Macs automatically as you work.

Good Idea, But way too glitchy - I loved the idea and it is a good app. But there is so many little things that just make it glitch and freeze.

Buggy in the extreme - A well-designed app that is unuseable because of all the bugs. And there seems to be no sign the company is prepared to fix them. It crashes on me all the time. I lose writing. Look at the other apps by the Alchemist Guild, you'll see all of them are nicely designed but bug-ridden. At this point, it's a waste of money.

Crashes Mean Lost Work - I had read the reviews about this app crashing, but I decided to give it a try. At first the app worked beautifully and I fell in love with the features. I was able to take notes for my research and organize them according to topic. But of course the crashes start to happen after you get more notes in a sheet. If you’re going to use this app, be sure you back up your sheet files regularly. I got overconfident and just had a crash after hours of note taking and lost all of the notes. That’s three hours of work gone. I should have copied the file to a new folder every 30 minutes or so. Another downfall of the app is that there is no way to bulk export. You can export one note at a time. Well, then I might as well copy and paste. So the export function is pretty nill. However, you CAN drop notes into other apps and have the notes copy. That’s pretty cool. Overall, this app would be awesome despite the lack of a decent export feature if it didn’t crash. I’m not going to delete it just yet. I’ll keep trying out the updates. But for now I’m moving to another program for my heavy research.
