Great - I used to use Genieo for all of my news stories, but ever since it got shut down (or it was revealed as a hacking company…?) I haven’t been able to find a good news app. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, and I’m a student, so I don’t have the time (or interest, haha!) to be reading the news or the newspaper. This app is sleek and beautiful and lets me see what is happening in the world just a mouse click away. I’m on my computer A LOT for essays, Netflix, etc. and it’s nice to have a really beautiful news system that I can pull up and pull away at my ease. I totally recommend this :)!

added their RSS feed - As an engineer myself I hate to leave scathing reviews but the behavior of this app is appalling. I downloaded to give it a shot only to realize that the app subscribed me to their product RSS feed without my approval. I was presented with a news update about their Memory Monitor product. Presumably it’s just as spammy… Resolution: 1. Deleted App 2. Unsubscribe from spammy feed 3. Change feed service password 4. Submit review
