NetAdmin Pro is an advanced version of NetAdmin.
- supports multiple connected network interfaces
- bonjour scanning
- automatic snmp information gathering
- more informative network structure
- enhanced chart with beauty.
- intuitive grid based on/off status and IP allocation monitor of hosts.
- and more...
In your offices and homes, many devices would have been connected to the local network. Some may be strictly controlled, and some may not. And some may consist of general computers and printers, and some may consist of wi-fi networks where mobile devices are connected to.
NetAdmin Pro lets you find all the devices connected to your local networks automatically without a separate monitoring collection server in any environment. This tool also collects information, and manages and monitors the connection history and information continuously.
Main features of NetAdmin Pro are:
- Stand-alone automatic data collection in your Mac.
- Fully automated operations
- Easy UI that provides various information required for local network management
- Host status charts within various given period (90 min. to 1 year)
- Network and host status reporting (PDF, print), exporting via CSV
- Additional features such as MIB Browser (SNMP v1/v2, keyword searching, exporting via text/CSV)
- Configurable icon and name for each device
- Wake On LAN
Main information provided by NetAdmin Pro is:
- Up/Down status of each host (with chart)
- Ping response time (with chart)
- NetBIOS, Bonjour, MDNS, UPNP, SNMP information
- Port scan and launch application with opened port
- NIC Vendor country/company (with OUI DB update feature)
- Public IP allocation history
- IP allocation history on each host
- Connected networks history for each host
- Wi-Fi information for connected network
- SNMP walk information on the network
- Host type analysis: Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OSX, Mobile device, Network printer, VOIP phone
* for the performance reason, the number of hosts in one subnet is limited by 1022, but you can change it from Preferences.
** NetAdmin Pro do not support network traffic monitoring and remote host (including VPN), please consider it before you buy.
- UI bug fix on 10.9 and below
- add more colors for host icon
- bug fix

This is a great upgrade!!! - Very nice developer is back :)
Only local subnet? Really? - Come on, that’s just crazy. How many “NetAdmins” actually manage only local subnets? Could be great if it allowed remote subnets. Otherwise a waste of $50.

Almost perfect for my home admin needs. - I have about 30 devices on a single subnet home network. Of all the 8 or so mac-based app store network administration tools this is the best. Sure, some people complain that it’s just a simple scanner, but it’s enough for my basic needs, all in one place: * Investigating what’s connected to my network * Identifying devices that may be having problems * Monitoring some of the basics of my network topology via SMNP (i.e. which switch ports are connected and corresponding speeds) I would love more functionality, some of whic can be found in other apps: * SMNP data rate tracking for switch ports * More programmability for using SNMP That’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars. Add those capabilities and it would be the ideal home monitoring system in my opinion (but not sufficient for pros).
Almost $50 but Nonexistant Documentation or Support - The interface GUI isn’t dead-obvious with respect to some more obscure features, but the level of support and documentation leaves learning to trial-and-error. Same goes for troubleshooting. The network history graph of “Host Health” is a useful concept, but undermined by lack of description on meaning of the metrics used for calculation and reporting (since health is charted in LEVELS of green and/or red). Knowing something about the meaning of the values graphed would help in identifying a starting point when investigating the health of host whose graph chart shows a status in the red (or for that matter, knowing if the problem is serious enough to warrant investigation). Similarly, given the general meaning behind the uses of red-light/green-light, what is the meaning when a host graphs as partly green and partly red? Status is unclear when the interface graphs Host Health in LEVELS of red and levels of green, both appear to exist at the same time, and there is no reference to what performance parameter is related to either of the colors.. Some functions (like adding a system or device to the menu-bar drop-down for quick monitoring) just randomly do and don’t work. There is no troubleshooting I can find for any of these problems. Emailing support is mostly a waste of time since rarely is there a reply (other reviewers have also had this problem). Recently one of my systems stopped all monitoring of any of my home networks within the app. It just sits with an empty main screen and no access to any network status or history. No idea how to fix this, so that particular almost $50 is currently for nothing. At that price, one of the more expensive on the App Store for software of any kind, I expect much more.
don’t buy it! there is not support for this app - I had an issue and this tool help me out a lot to find out my problem by giving a graphical image of my devices connection to the internet, really usefull. The problem came when I moved out of my workplace and needed to connect my network using a VPN - this tools doesn’t allows you to change the net range in order for you to be able to monitor an specific network range!! BAD BOYS - UGGG that’s a really a bummer!!! You can’t monitor another network than the one you are connected to!! No no no — The IP on my VPN are differents from the one on my office… so no way to monitor my net - I tryed to specific my internal range of IP on the parameters of the scan range and nothing it always brought me back to the one they chose as default net! - Do you know how many followers they have on facebook? only 5 with a photo of a dog as profile. ON TOP OF THIS this is a majoy issue, if you go to their website and try to send a msg using their web form, it won’t work! and there is no phone number, email or an address!! who are they? no body knows but APPLE who sponsor shady developers. - do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app! do not buy this app!
