Fear lingers in a remote laboratory after a physicist's suspicious demise. That's why the lab owner asked you, as Detective Nancy Drew, to expose the terrifying truth about The Deadly Device!

Deady Device is a Jolting Hit! - As is the style of all Nancy Drew PC/MAC games, this is a first person point and click mystery game. This is an excellent addition to the collection of anyone who has played and enjoyed Nancy Drew games in the past. While I would recommend almost all of the games, what is nice is that this one seems very much like the earlier games in the sense of character development (think of the development/relationships we had in Secrets Can Kill!) No only that, but the plot is completely engaging. It's definitely a whodoneit until the game is over. I also enjoyed the new feature of "facetime" on Nancy's phone, but was sad to see that it was not a genuine video. This game is definitely better for the 12 and up crowd, as the puzzles can get challenging (I say this as a 21 year old who had to use the cheat codes) and it can be a little bit spooky- it is a murder mystery after all! Game runs really smoothly on my 2010 Macbook Air.
Wouldn't Run - My computer meets all of the requirements but the game wouldn't even open. I downloaded the game twice, but still no luck. What a waste of $20. I ended up reporting the problem to the App store and getting a refund. Hope others have better luck.

One of the best titles - This game is a must-have Nancy Drew game. The puzzles are fun and the mystery was satisfying, but one of the most memorable things about it are the characters. I played this two years ago but just seeing the pictures, I could remember all the characters and their quirks. It was really fun!
