Easy on the brain - I already owned the other very popular mind mapping app on the MAS, but it just doesn't quite fit my workflow. I tried the trial version of MyThoughts to see if it would fit me better. Tested it most of the day. I can easily create built-in notes as well as linking to as many files and URLs as I want for each node. This feature is the main item that pretty much sold me. I say it's easy on the brain because the inspector is very well orgainzed, plus selecting the attributes I want for each node dead easy, just the way an OSX app should be. Another feature I like is the the outline view of all nodes that's displayed in the Notes window. Makes working with notes and links a breeze instead of having to look for data on the map. Go to the website and give it a test drive, I'm sure glad I did.

Been using it for years however no export to Pages. - Love the app overall, great UI and works very well for 2-3 level brainstorms. However, even though it gives an option to save in a Pages friendly format “RTFD” Pages gives an error that it cannot open RTF files. So you have an app that is not Apple friendly.
