My Medical is a comprehensive record-keeping app for your personal medical information. It's the perfect replacement for unreliable paper records or various electronic systems that hold bits and pieces of your medical history. With My Medical, any and all information that is important to you is kept together in one place.

* It's for the whole family *
My Medical isn't just one medical record. You can keep as many records as you want. Use it for a spouse or aging parents. Use it to keep immunization records for your children. Use it to look after a special needs child. Doctors, nurses and clinicians: use My Medical to maintain notes about your patients.

* 21st century record-keeping *
At heart, My Medical is a thorough database that's yours to control and change. But it's nice to have some help, which is why the app offers autocompletion and autosuggestion for a wealth of medical jargon, including prescription drug names; vaccinations; common afflictions; life support options; laboratory units; and much more. That means more time keeping track of what's important, and less time trying to remember (or spell) the name of that medication.

* A medical record and more *
Areas for emergency contacts, health insurance, doctors' contact information, and other data that are not strictly part of a traditional personal health record (PHR) are all available. And if you already have medical contacts in your address book, then perfect, because My Medical can import it in one click. There's no need to retype it all.

* And it works with your calendar *
My Medical will automatically put doctor's appointments, upcoming lab tests, and prescription refill reminders on your Mac's calendar. You can even set reminder alarms directly from the app, without ever going into your calendar.

* A digital file cabinet *
What about photographs, labwork, x-rays and other important documents that can't be typed directly in? My Medical devotes an entire area to extra files that can be attached to your record. Not only that, you can tie files to particular items anywhere within your information. So add a picture of the pill next to a medication. Keep a copy of your insurance card alongside a provider's contact information.

* From blood tests to X-rays *
My Medical provides a range of common test result templates for you to track test results. To name just a few: blood pressure; cholesterol; metabolic panels; blood sugar; CAT scan; height and weight. If that isn't enough, construct and customize your own test results to keep track of exactly what you need.

* Visualize it *
Chart test results with sophistication and discover trends over time. With the charting feature you can view multiple graphs simultaneously and even see moving averages to uncover long term changes.

* It's secure *
Unlike most other health record applications, data is stored right on your Mac, not on remote servers. So you don't need to worry about who can see your data at the other end of the line. In fact, My Medical does not connect to the Internet at all and doesn't send out any private or diagnostic information, making it as secure as possible. As a further safety measure, you may require a password in order to view all or certain parts of your information.

* Standards compatible *
My Medical supports the industry standard Continuity of Care Record (CCR) format of personal medical record transmission between systems. The long and the short: if you already have records in other system like Microsoft HealthVault, then it's a breeze to automatically move much of that data to My Medical instead of having to manually retype it.

* Get the word out *
Sharing your information has never been easier. Generate a report of all or part of your record and email it straightaway. Or export it as a Microsoft Excel-readable spreadsheet.

Amazing Application for keeping track of your Familys Medical History - Today I downloaded My Medical for my Mac. I was so impressed with this software that I purchased the iphone and iPad versions of this application. What's great is that you can send data to all of your devices. I was amazed at what this application can do. I am going to use this application to track my familys medical history and whats great is that I will have my medical history with me at all times. Well developed application. Highly Recommended.

Poor support and reliability - I have used My Medical for over for the past few years and have not had any problems until recently. My medical is running on my MacBook Pro and my iPhone using their Dropbox sync. A few weeks ago I checked the application and all my data was lost for the past year on both devices. I sent 2 emails to support requesting assistance and received no replies from the developer. While losing the data was disconcerting the lack of any support from the company is unacceptable. Over the years I have contacted other firms for support with their apps and have always received a prompt reply. This is the first company that has not bothered to answer repeat emails for assistance. If you are looking for an app to store your medical data reliably as well as a firm that will assist you when necessary then I urge you to stay away from My Medical.

Needs work and love - Feels like someone put a lot of effort into creating what should be a great product, then left after cashing in? Sync just does not work between Mac and iOS devices. Web page is little help here. Dropbox works, but iCloud has been up and running for some time now. Just needs more love. As a physician, you could simply do a lot better. Sve your money until this app gets on it’s feet here.

No iCloud Drive Option - App will not store data in iCloud or iCloud Drive so it can be accessed across other OS and iOS devices.

No support, no updates. - In past I really liked this application. I purchased it for Mac as well as for iOS. However, now, it appears abandoned by the developer. I have sent more than one bug report via their website with no response. The application has issues, and it does not appear as if they are being addressed. Currently, I cannot enter vision information, whereas previously I could. If I forget to manually save before exiting, everything I have done is lost. There is no autosave and there us no warning when I quit without saving. The last update to the Mac app was two years ago, that is an eternity in the software world. I will still use the app but I am no longer pleased with it. As an aside, the iOS app will no longer run on my iPad Air 2 and the developer does not respond to my requests for support.

One BIG problem - I like the program, but it only sync’s through Dropbox and I refuse to use or pay for Dropbox, It I do not like. I will find a program to use that will sync through iCloud.

Input flow - I am a nurse and I do home visits. The concept is exactly what I needed but the flow of inputing information is horrible. Needs to be able to put all vital signs (bp, Temp, Resperations, Pulse, Pain level, PO2%) on one page. A fix for it would be the ability to edit and group tests. Maybe also being able to freate your own forms to record answers over time.
