Easy to use - Easy to use application, I am not vey skilled any video editing at all and I was able to use this application with ease. I had to asked support for help a couple of times but response was prompt and I was able to resulve the issues I had. I can merge, split videos which are the 2 main things I needed to do and I could not fidure how to do it with iMovie. Recommended.
What the heck!!! - This is the worst application I have! Its audio functions are so limited! I mean, I’m only a kid and I know that this is a very under quality editing app. Also, with the export, if you try to cancel, it freezes and you have to restart the whole project! I hate this app.

Where’s the documentation? - By looking through the features of this app, I found it will very useful. However, the documentation is very skimpy. It’s like getting a 3-page manual for your new car. You can start the car, but you have to guess how everything else works. The users aren’t mind readers and shouldn’t have to guess how things work. Why should I have to spend extra time guessing when it should be documented. For example, I wanted to have a text box with the title of the presentation and presenter’s name dissolve after a period of time. When I selected dissolve, the shape of the box changed and reformated the text. Huh? Because there is only a very brief instruction about effects for text boxes, I have no idea why that affect changed everything. A text box is a text box. How I format and place the text box should not be affected by the animation affect I select. Because there is no explanation why this affect is acting this way, I am stuck with static affect! I am becoming very frustrated by having to guess what the features of this app do. I will start looking for another app. I upgraded from the lite version to get away from the watermark on the finished product and hoping for complete documentation. The watermark went away but no additional documentation.
Perfect for Easy Editing! - I love this program! It is set up more like the old iMovie that everyone knew and loved from 2006, which was very easy to use for people who just do basic editing. This program also allows you to edit audio too, so it’s a one-stop shop. The quality of my videos are pretty excellent, I can control the basics (rendering, sound, fps, etc.) but without getting overly complicated. The money I spent to buy this program is the best $20 bucks I have ever spent!
Love this app - There are some things I would love to see added or changed but all in all I love the app. I think it is very easy to use and have not had a bit of problem using it. There are problem so feature I have not found yet but I can not wait to discover them. I make Youube videos and I liek this better then iMovie.
Simple interface does what I need - My first job was to combine silent video with an audio track, it works great. I haven’t used many features yet. this program has run fine so far on 10.9.5 which I use so I can run iPhoto. The only thing I haven’t found, is a way to type in a "time code" to jump the entry point to. Setting the resolution was a little confusing, but I think I’ve found it. The export is very versatile in file types and audio/video data speed settings. I also like the Lite (free) version so I could try out the program before buying. (having a big water mark is not a problem.) This is great for people, like me, who want to stay with an older OS. Thank you for the support!
Intuitive and just what I needed. - I was using the iMovie application for years and suddenly it just stopped working for some reason. I needed to get a video up on Youtube and so glad I found this! I bought the $19.99 version and it works quite well. I had my video up in no time. Thank you! The controls are intuitive, but I do wish I had a manual so that I could make my videos even better. Maybe one of those “Classroom in a Book” type books would help, too, where you work on projects and learn video editing skills along the way.
