Add the moon to your menu bar and view moon calendar with all its phases in just one click. Its so simple to use and much more convenient than anything else, it quickly becomes an indispensable tool for your Mac.

Moon Widget includes the following features :

Automatically launch the widget in your menu when you login.
Does not take any dock space.
Designed to utilize minimal system resources as well as energy and works great offline* too.
Shows today's moon phase on menu bar as well as a photographic image of the moon when you open the menu.
Shows the name of the current phase.
Shows Moon rise and set times.
Shows Sun rise and set times.
Shows moon calendar for the entire month.
Add multiple locations and switch between them quickly.
Adjusts automatically for daylight savings time.
Accurate rise and set info in a beautiful interface.

* The only time you need to be connected to internet is when you are adding a new location (for city search & autocompletion). All info displayed are computed locally and can be used even when not connected to the internet.

not as pictured - when viewing the monthly calendar the pictures of the moon are all white whether the phase is full or new or whatever It does not look like the month pictured here in the purchase applications page. Also, I would like to be able to click on a date and see the picture of the moon above with the description of its phase. Overall, a mediocre tool.

Moon Widget - I bought and downloaded Moon Widget and then clicked “OPEN” after it appeared. It’s in my app folder, and I have clicked it numerous times, but it will not open.
