Simply click the icon when it's red to see your unread items! Click on any of the items to be taken directly to the relevant Facebook page.

You can also enable screen notifications, elegant popups that show additional information on your screen whenever you have a new message/notification/friend request on Facebook. Click them to be taken to the relevant Facebook page.

Additional features include audio alerts, automatic start when you turn your computer on, and more.

This app is a must-have for any Facebook user on Mac!

Need This For Other Social Networking Choices (Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.) - This is great and works wonderfully. To me, the BEST part is that there is nothing open in the dock, just in my top bar. That's important to me because I tend to minimize what is open on my dock, as I'm not a fan of having a lot of stuff on it - so very annoying. Also, it's not in the menu when you hist Control+Tab, another set I like to minimize having stuff open on. I LOVE being able to just look up and see where things are at, and for it to tell me in a Growl like fashion what has just taken place. Then if you click on the icon, it will open up Facebook and take you right to the notification so you can read the update, answer the friend request, etc. So easy and handy - I love it! It's the perfect combination of staying out of the way yet keeping me in the loop. I just wish I had this for all my other social networking programs that I'm on, so I could work on my computer and stay up on what's going on and quickly respond without having to have facbeook or the other social networking programs open in my web browser. PLEASE produce this for all the other social networking programs!!!!
