Application to mirror the screen of your Mac to any LG Smart TV. No wires and no additional hardware needed! You can also stream individual video files from your Mac to your TV. Also, we included the option to watch one window on your Mac, and another window on your TV!

This works on any LG Smart TV from the 2012 models onwards. And the LG Home Theater System.

In using the app, there will be about 2 to 3 seconds of latency. So this mirroring is not suitable for gaming.

However, it is very suitable for watching movies, giving presentations, watching photos, and much more!

The quality of your experience will be dependent on the quality of your local network. Some tips to enhance the experience:

- Preferably, connect your TV by LAN cable to your router.
- Use an "ac" router. If you don't have one, then an "n" router.
- Try not to overload your wifi network by moving big files around while you are mirroring.

How the app works:
First, make sure that your LG TV is on the same local network and same subnet as your Mac. The TV should not be in screen mirroring mode, but just on "TV" Mode or any HDMI IN port.

After launching the app, you will see the app icon appearing in the top bar of your Mac and the app will look for your TV on the network. It will show your TV when it has found it. Now, you have two options:

Mirror your Mac Screen:
Use this option to put the screen of your Mac on TV. In source, you can select which screen (or attached monitor) you want to display on TV. If you are running multiple applications on your Mac, you can also select which application window you want to see on TV.

Enable Sound: check this to hear the sound of your Mac coming from the TV. You will need the additional (free) audio driver, which you can download here: http://bit.ly/MirrorAudio

Play Video File:
Use this option if you have a video file on your Mac and you want to play just the file on TV. Drop it in the box and it will play on TV.

Settings (the icon in the bottom right of the app): click here to request support from our 24/7 support staff. They usually respond within 2 hours on any query that you might have. If your question is technical, please also include the diagnostics information.

When you like the app, please don't forget to give it a positive rating! Thanks in advance from the AirBeamTV development team!

Looks good so far! - I tested it out first, and it worked! I just spent all night trying to get my new lg smart tv to mirror my mac without buying an apple tv. Looks like this is my answer! So far, so good! Thanks!

Does what it says, high latency (slow updates). - Very easy to start using. It displays the screen OK, but it takes seconds to update. I wanted to use it to page through Power Point presentations. The latency is too high for that. Half a second might be OK for that, but not 5 seconds. I’m 15 feet from the 802.11ac router and 7 feet from the TV. The network connection is great. Uninstalled immediately. For my usage, it was a waste of money. I feel robbed, since I can’t return it.

Does Not Work for iTunes - I was hoping to use this to mirror iTunes movies to my TV, but the iTunes FairPlay content protection blacks the screen and audio. So, as many others have commented, this app is useless.

Good only for a very specific thing - Please don’t purchase this for video…THERE IS NO WAY TO RECEIVE A REFUND ACCORDING TO APPLE. I gave this app a try hoping to avoid buying an Apple TV device to mirror my computer for streaming vid to my LG TV. I don’t mind the lag, but it didn’t work out for that task because the app had to stop and catch up too frequently, even with excellent bandwidth/speed to offer in all other ways. The images on the TV were also much darker than on my computer so scenes that were shot in less light were virtually impossible to see at all. This app seems like it would do the trick for static mirroring best, such as powerpoints that are slow or static documents you need projected. It should be advertised as such and not for video uses. The company misrepresents the product.

DO NOT BUY! - The demo seemed fine, then after dropping $9.99 you will quickly learn that there is a lag. So to watch a movie, you cannot sync audio and video so it is TOTALLY worthless. Waste of money. UPDATE: The developer wrote to me that I need to download their audio driver and then reconsider my review. OK, here is the deal - it helps sync the video to the audio but IT DOES NOT MIRROR THE COMPUTER. If you want to rename this app “WHAT WAS HAPPENING ON YOUR COMPUTER BETWEEN THREE AND SEVEN SECONDS AGO FOR LG TV,” I will reconsider my rating. But this app does NOT mirror the computer.

Nope. Doesn’t Work. - Does not work. Want my money back. Doesn’t detect my TV, and yes, it is connected to the local network. Don’t waste your time or money on this app.
