likey - The app does what its name claims...it's a mirror. I think it's a great app with a cool icon. Helpful for putting on makeup and checking to make sure you don't have anything unwanted on your face....especially in the library or at a coffee shop when you don't have a mirror handy.
Not that helpful... - You could do the same thing by just opening Photo Booth. Not really necessary to take up space you don't have to.

I like it! - I got this app and I really like it! Even though it is a lot like PhotoBooth, it is better for using it as a mirror, and it is free! It is actually a great mirror! So stop complaining about the fact that it is almost exactly like PhotoBooth! It is a free app and I personally think that it is a better mirror than photobooth. I don't think there's anything wrong with it except for the fact that you have to have the right lighting or else it won't work well. Overall I really like it and I think it's a good app!
Doesn’t work well - On my MacBookPro (Yosemite), this app gives a distorted view — the aspect ratio is wrong, so everything looks compressed along the vertical axis (making everything look taller and thinner than it really is). Flattering for those of us with a few extra pounds, I suppose— but really, this is more like a “funhouse mirror”, than a “make-up mirror”. For an app that claims to be just a “full-screen HD mirror”, and chooses a make-up mirror as the icon, this really misses the mark. If you are looking for a make-up mirror, don’t bother with this app— use FaceTime or PhotoBooth, both of which you already have, and both of which give you a correct image. If this app fixed the aspect ratio problem, and actually did support full screen mode (properly), then it’d be worth having.
Works just fine! - This app functions as a mirror just fine and it is free. Performs as advertised. It is a very small app, and so should not be given a low rating for "taking up space".
NOT having the ability to record is the point. - I can think of some activities where a mirror that doesn't have the ability to record would make people more comfortable. So, if you'd like a better look at how you look, or a 3rd person view of …,well, let's say you performance as you practice for that important speech, but want to be sure it's not recorded, this is your app.
Distortion - The app itself is simple. You click on the application icon in the launchpad and it instantly sends you into a window that uses the camera on your computer as a mirror. there is absolutely nothing else that you can do with this app, and that is not a bad thing. After all, the app is only supposed to be a mirror, and having nothing else is completely fine with me. The inside of the application is just a window filled with the image from the FaceTime camera. However, there are two main things about this app that would make me say “don’t get it.” Firstly, unlike what it says in the app’s description, the windows is not fullscreen. I ran the application on a 2015 MacBook Pro (13-inch) and the window extended down below the dock and the sides of the window did not touch the sides of the screen. Did I also mention that you cannot resize the window at all? Secondly, as the title says, the image is distorted. You look streched out vertically. I have read other reviews of this happening so it most likely happens on all devices able to run this app. That’s all I can really say about this.
