- Mouse path is tracked with replay, and can be displayed.
- Window can be resized at any time
- Area is always opened on the first click.

- A Right-click anywhere after a game, or click the clock to start a new game.
- Best times are tracked in a high score table.
- Chording is available for faster play.
- The Inspector tool shows live game statistics.
- Colors can be changed.
A mouse with two separate buttons is ideal for this game. If you use a trackpad or magic mouse, be sure to enable secondary clicks in your system preferences.

Does what you want and a bit more - Very nice looking, customizeable, and fast. And most importantly, it works. Perfect for killing 5 minutes, and as long as I keep telling myself that it's a brain game, and good for me, I don't have to feel guilty about playing.
Rating responding to pop-up solicitation - This app periodically has a pop-up soliciting users to review it in the App Store. I am responding to that spam. I find fhis kind of pop-up revolting. As a matter of policy, any program that uses pop-ups this way to slolicit reviews will get one -- with a one-star rating. This is a decent app, but spamming your customers is unacceptable.

Is there a flaw in computer or game? - Too often when I am right clicking to place a flag it blows up the mine. Very frustrating especially since I agree it is not pretty and too frequently requires simple guessing when you have worked through most of the grid. Would also like the pause function suggested by one player.
Not playable with Magic Mouse - Like other reviewers here, there seems to be something either in the game or the hardware, that makes it impossible to play with the apple Magic Mouse. Far too often about midway through the game the right click is interpreted as a left click - and that's it - game over - there is no undo, so you're just stuck. This could all be pretty easily resolved with a simple Undo feature. Until this is fixed, it's unfortunately a waste of money and time and a source of frustration. One possible workaround is to turn off right clicking in the control panel, and then hold Option and click for a "right click" - I've tried this and it's ok, but I really just want to use the mouse and relax with a game of Minesweeper. just as good if not better than MS minesweeper - i was addicted to MS minesweeper when i used windows. now i’m addicted to this one. it’s the only game in my dock :-/ much like the original, it loads super quickly no matter what all is running already and plays clean - simple and sleek - so i can twiddle with it when a call comes in on google voice or when waiting for something to up/download. also the color mods are awesome - if anything makes this game better than the original it’s the color mods. i think new MS minesweeper does that, too, but i doubt it still runs as clean as it used to. simple yet awesome addition to your nervous stimulation :)
It’s alright….. - First, there are issues with trying to left click to mark a mine, and it is registered as a left click thus triggering the mine - very annoying. Also, there are flaws in the algorithm used to lay out boards, a board should be winnable by logic entirely yet there are times when guessing is required, this is very annoying if you spend 5-6 minutes on a large board and it comes down to a guess. Another issue I’ve found (which is somewhat rare) is that a mine can occur in a place where a number is required to go. For example, I had a game where I had 5 mines on the bottom of the grid, so that there were 3 mines across, and then two below that with a blank space in between them and below that was the edge of the screen. The rules of minesweeper dictate that the blank should have been a 5, however it was a mine. Annoying- that’s the best word I can use to describe the bugs/flaws of this app.
Would be perfect, but... - …like others have said, often at some point usually in the middle or late in the game the "right-click-flag" function (at least on the magic mouse) misfires as a left-click -- therefore triggering a mine, ending your game. EXTREMELY frustrating. Any chance this can be fixed? The right-click doesn't misfire in ANY other application…I suppose I could try the option-click method, but it would definitely take a while to get used to playing in this fashion.
