Works well - Looks great and so far it frees memory for me when requested by clearing inactive memory. Have not tried the auto-free option as inactive memory still has its use unless you are running low, at which point I can manually free. Using Lion 10.7.1

what about swap files? - App is OK, but "Menu Meters" app gives far more useful information and is also free. I don't really understand what the "Free Now" feature does. If you really want a useful feature, someone should write an app that removes unused swap files more efficiently than the OS. It is possible to wipe these files, but not easy. If your system is slowing down, it is likely due to having a lot of swap files floating around. Even after quitting open apps, and even with large amounts of free ram, these files linger, taking up space and speed. I'm still looking for an app that will wipe these files…..

Support page in Japanese only - While this free app does monitor your memory usage, the "Free Now" button for freeing up memory didn't work for me (OS 10.6.8; MacPro). Plus, when I went to their support page, it was not in English.

Freeze fixed if AutoFree turned on - ***FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH FREEZING UP*** For a while this app would be freezing up as other reviewers described, but I found a solution – keep AutoFree turned on, and it will freeze much less. When AutoFree was turned off it would freeze every five minutes, but immediately when I turned on AutoFree it started working smoothly. So there's your solution – keep AutoFree on. ***FOR ORANGEMIDNIGHT*** I'm pretty sure that deleting swap files is actually what this app does. The "free now" feature is the WHOLE POINT! It frees up memory by deleting swap files, and Menu Meters only shows statistics; it doesn't actually do anything about it. ***FOR NEW CUSTOMERS*** This app works pretty well if you temporarily need memory – for example, when you have several tasks running at once. The memory naturally goes down after a few minutes, but wait five to ten minutes, and try again. A mistake you might make is hitting "free now" several times in a row – this will not improve it after the first time. I would definitely recommend downloading this. ***FOR THE DEVELOPERS*** Please fix the problem with freezing up when AutoFree is turned off.

Nice App - I am running this app on MB with Lion. Does what is says. It recovers alot of memory. I just wish it did so without temp freezing up when Auto-Recovering memory. If this can be fixed It gets 5 stars.
