Pretty Helpful, a little unclear - Firstly, I’d say that as far as a memory monitor application goes, this is the best I’ve seen. I usually have Activity monitor open and minimized but it’s much quicker to go to the taskbar and get a visual breakdown of what’s taking up my RAM. It doesn’t appear to utilize hardly any CPU which is ideal for a monitoring application as well. I’m taking take one star off because I can’t find any good information about what their “optimization” method is. I’m not sure if it just wipes common temporary files or what but it always seems to do -something-, I just don’t know what. I don’t feel comfortable letting an app mess around with my computer’s RAM unless I know what it’s going to be doing with it. That said, it’s still perfect for monitoring and getting basic info about any apps that may be hogging your memory and slowing down the system. Plus, it’s got a beautiful interface so all in all, 5/5 stars.

Nearly Immediately Deleted - Deleted after they begged for store ratings - Ads taking up most of my screen on startup. Almost immediately deleted, but then I saw a check box to remove ads from app launch. They could have waited a few minutes so I could even see if the program was worth anything before bombarding me with more stuff I’m not going to buy. Wait. I take that back, they did wait a few minutes to beg for a rating in addition to the blasting with ads on startup. At their request, I pushed on and completed this review. The graph looks pretty but contray to the name, no memory diagnostics happen in the application. App makers call listing memory use, diagnostics. It is similar to calling the fuel guage in your vehicle a diagnostic meter. What does happen is the app graphs your memory and gives you a quick button to the purge command. You can find the same bits of information in Activity Monitor. If you used lots of glitter on your assignments in grade school, this app is for you.

Love this app - I use this on all my macs. My laptop cannot put more than 8gigs of Ram, and with this, I can continue to clear the memory so I can keep working at full speed. On my desktop it just works well. Love it. Can’t say enough for it’s simplicity and value of what it does.

Long time user - I have been using this app on my 2012 Mac Mini, 2011 MacBook Pro 15” that died, 2015 MacBook Pro 13" my Late 2015 iMac and my 2013 Mac Pro. It runs very well. It is worth the purchase price. It doesn’t just work it works with style. My main gripes are that the program has a tendency to spam me about new programs from the company in the form of a window that pops up the first time a program is installed and notifications. The former I can overlook beause it has a check box to not be bothered again. However the later by passes the preference of not being solicited and displays in the notification system anyways. There is no clear way to not show the notifications. In addition if you tru try to close the program or just randomly the program solicts for reviews on the app store. There is a huge button for submiting a review but only the tiny red x button to close the window. In truth the continued hunding is becoming tiresome.

App is turning into spamware/adware - I love what this app does. But I’m getting VERY tired of the constant spam this app produces trying to get you to purchase their other apps. This is incredibly annoying since I paid actual money for this app. I may be looking for a replacement soon if they keep the spamware model.

A must have..Should be included in OS X - If you are running Sierra, Mavericks, or Yosemite or ElCapitan, you MUST download this app and run it. The way Ram is used in these new OSes is different, and this app lets you with a single click wipe out memory thats not being used and make it available. I click on this app at least 5 times a day when I feel my computer is getting sluggish, and sure enough all my ram is being tied up with apps that are closed. You click the OPTIMIZE button and you can see the ram being compressed down to remove whats not being used, and leaving you with usually 1/3 of your ram free. EVEN if you have a LOT of ram Like I do, I have the max 16GB in my iMac, I need to use it. Simply put if you run a mac with Mavericks Up, get this FREE app, and youll see what I mean. There is a reason that all the ratings are in the A or B. It works
