A must for puzzle collectors - Well worth the money - it’s long, involved and a great story, particularly if you like mythology & archeology. You need to be a part of the story line but the help button is a bit away if you absolute need to use it. And yes, I did need to use it a few times when I couldn’t figure out where to go next. The music, voice overs and scenery are fantastic. There is a bit of humor between some of the characters, too. If you are looking for a quickie - this one isn’t it. I did the entire thing over time without rushing. Lots of achievements to work out, too. The puzzles for the most part were fairly easy to medium. A couple required a bit of thinking, but don’t rush and you’ll figure them out. There are hints to start each puzzle so you know what you have to do. The object finds weren’t massive in numbers - the balance between story, puzzles, object find and sleuthing was just right. The last puzzle took a bit of doing as it required a bit of dexterity and eye/hand coordination, but it is very doable if you focus. A friend of mine played it on a touch screen and said it was very responsive. I played it on a 27” iMac. All elements were smooth as I used my mouse. This is one top notch game! Enjoy!

Not boring, but too difficult - Was an interesting pretext, but the operation of the game sucked. It was extremely UN-intuitive, and you literally have to keeping hitting the hint button to figure out what to do next. The HO part wasn’t too difficult, but the play-ability, and the graphics/sound, were definitely sub-par.

Wow! - Love this game. The game is beautifully rendered and the story is intriguing. There is an obvious an Lara Croft quality to the game. But I love Laura Croft and the puzzles are the kind that make one think and exercise the brain. Thoroughly enjoyable.

A lot of interesting things, but disjointed - The puzzles were unique. Most were not exceptionally difficult, but interesting enough to get my attention. Some that I skipped I will probably go back and try again. As for hidden object games: Are HOs challenging because the objects are merely obscure? Or are they ‘fun' because the clues are a play on words or the objects clever and cleverly hidden? I would say the latter. Hidden chips of stuff don’t interest me much. The art was nice. Characters were interesting, but there were just too many. Some were used in a lazy way to glue the story together. My main complaint about the game is that by Chapter 4 or 5, the game became extremely disjointed. I totally gave up following the story and I began to have no idea about what to do next. This does not make the game challenging, it makes it illogical.

doesn’t work very well on laptop - The story was extremely corny. Without “Help”, navigation and finding things would be nearly impossible. The controls did not respond well to touchpad use on a laptop - sometimes had to click on something twice to acquire it; other puzzles that involved “mechanics” such as turning/pivoting a marker and stopping it were difficult to do because of the lack of responsiveness (I had to skip a few because I could not get them to respond properly). The graphics were poor (for example, in the puzzles involving finding pieces that will be put together to make something, the clues don’t look anything like the pieces in the puzzle). There were some clever 3-dimensional puzzles where you rotated an object in all directions to find clues and to solve the puzzle.
