Stick to Pages - This program is good at one thing--slapping a cover on your epub file. Unfortunately it does everything else poorly. If you use a Microsoft Word file (.docx as it doesn't support .doc), you can be guaranteed that the formatting will be entirely screwed up. There will be spaces between quotation marks, and words will have randomly added spaces in between the letters. Honestly, with Word files, this program is completely useless. Another issue is that this is nothing more than a document converter. It says that it allows you to edit the epub file, but the options are so minimal as to be pointless. Needless to say, when you input a file, you can't then edit the text or do any kind of visual formatting. You can adjust the metadata and do some basic layout adjustments, but all it does beyond that is convert the file to epub and slap a cover on it. To make matters worse, OS X Lion includes epub exporting capability in Pages that work great. The only real problem is that Pages has no real support for adding a cover--it's "use page 1 as cover" function is inconsistent. When putting together epub documents today, I don't even bother opening this program, I open up Pages and just export from there. Very disappointed in this product, and it needs a massive degree of improvements and feature upgrades to remotely justify its price.

Very meh - I should have trusted more of the reviewers. In re-reading the description, they say you can edit the formatting... where? of what? I needed to convert a file into epub for publication. This app is a bit less than a one trick pony--something that I probably can do straight through Pages. I was hoping for a bit more flexibility. Alas.
Doesn - I have not been able to get this app to work at all.
Great Start! - Great start! Overall, it does good. However, it creates a separate page in the eBook for each page in the PDF. This obviously makes the pages wrap poorly. So, a little extra time is taken in cleaning it up.
