Description:

As the old saying goes … “Practice makes Perfect”… get this app to practice your mental math multiplication skill.

Math Tables can help one become proficient in math multiplication tables. Math Tables from 1 till 59 are included in this app. Thus one can practice all the way to 59x59. There are multiple levels of difficulty that should be able to challenge almost anyone.

Correct and incorrect responses are followed by appropriate audio.

In order to build some performance measurement, a timer is activated. Each correct response yields 10 points. Each incorrect response subtracts 5 fives. The task is to get as many points as possible in the given time.

As a feedback, the background color changes with the performance. A better performance causes the background to be lighter.

not ready for prime time - Too much mousing is needed. It would be great to set the problems on a timer. Why not use the enter key rather than having to mouse over to the "Next" button? For that matter, use keys on the board to answer the question eliminating the necessity of the mouse altogether. The ranges are too arbitrary. My 9 year old needs to work on 1-15. Yes it would be nice if she could know up to 20 but I'd like the option of setting the upper and lower limit. As for the lower limit, it seems like a lot of the problems are "0 x n = ? ." Who needs repeated practice on the products of 0, much less emphasis? I would like a way to eliminate both 0 and 1 from the tables since the concepts are rather easily grasped and only get in the way after that. I gave it 2 stars at first, but the more I think about it, these are easy things that should have been thought of. I've wasted 2 bucks because this means I'll be shopping for a better one. Let's hope the next update can address these simple but obvious things.
