Unrivaled App BUT Still Has Faults - In a financial sense, the Mastock application holds unprecedented forms of investment analysis, a multitude of real-time tools, and maybe even $60.00-worth of information. However, despite my appreciation for the app's countless technological facets, I must state my one and only complaint: it's not easy to use! I recently graduated from the 7th Best B-School in the nation with a Finance degree, so when I try to add an index to my portfolio, I expect an average for the index, e.g., DJI, SP500, etc; I would NOT expect the program to add EACH AND EVERY STOCK that is IN the respective index! This ONE mistake has rendered the app useless, since now, each time I try to access Mastock, it obviously freezes up, due to the great amount of memory used to generate up-to-date information for some 1,000 stocks! Ultimately, I DO RECOMMEND THE APP. Thus said, although I consider myself fairly "tech-savvy" and I practice finance daily at a professional corporate level, I must say that I was a little bit thrown off by what the app's commands and various buttons READ versus the ACTUAL FUNCTION they indeed performed. I give it 5 stars because I have yet to find anything like it. The only similar application is "StockSpy", which I also own, but it goes without saying that they are in 2 totally different brackets, if examined as financial databases.

Data - Everything was going great when all of a sudden I couldn’t get data from yahoo finance anymore. Quandl doesn’t seem to be helping and never could get data from google. Have to start looking for charting software where I can get data.

Terrible App - The iCloud functionality of this program is terrible. My MacBook Air and iPhone were not synching properly and when I tried to restore from the Cloud the program crashed. On the second attempt it restored data from a year ago but nothing recent. Now I have to re-enter over a year’s worth of data. This is absolutly terrible. Save your money and don’t buy!!!
