Description:

Mancala (also known as Kalah) is an ancient board game. Pick up marbles from any of bottom holes and move them counter-clockwise. If your move ends at your home hole (right one) you can move again.

The game ends when all six holes on either side are empty. The winner is the player with the most marbles in home hole.

Nice graphics - I like everything about this game. It’s very straightforward. The only confusing part is capturing your opponents pieces. If you’ve played that way before, ( I have), it’s no problem. For those who haven’t though, it’d be nice to have the option to capture or not. I do like that it has the option of putting a piece in your opponents bin or not. The background and the light-colored wood are even relaxing.

When In Tabula Raza Mode - Let’s face it, there are times when one just doesn’t want to think about anything. This game is great for calming one. I love to play it when trying to come up ith new ideas or deal with some puzzling or concerning situation. I use it as a kind of therapy (cheaper than a shrink). I’ve even done adaptations of it with a handful of rocks when not near a computer. Great fun.

GREAT - I definitely reccommend. The features are great and the game is straightforward and soothing. I often play when I’m procrastinating and don’t feel like doing much of anything else.

Great game - With position and perfect play it’s possible to win every time, however it’s a beautifully made pleasure to play. I’m sure with the paid version the difficulty is harder

Confusing… ??? - I hope to catch on to this game… I have never played it, so sometimes I thought I captured seeds, but didn’t. Hmm… I look forward to figuring it out! This could be fun! :+)
