Description:

MailRemedy is an utility that helps you to clear "Mail" Application's OfflineCache if it gets corrupted.
You don't need to tweak your Mail settings or execute any cryptic terminal commands to do this.
With MailRemedy, you can clear the corrupted cache with a few simple mouse clicks.

When do you need to clear the cache?
You need to clear the OfflineCache of your IMAP account as soon as Mail generates multiple copies of the same message under the "Recovered messages" folder and one or more accounts show the spinning progress indicator.
While the "Mail" Application is stuck in this state, no messages can be sent or received. This seems to occur only with IMAP accounts.
Just a few clicks in MailRemedy and the "Mail" Application is running again.

What MailRemedy can't do:
MailRemedy can NOT recover your lost, deleted or damaged messages and works ONLY with IMAP Accounts.

miracle app! - Highly recommended! This app solved my IMAP recovered message hell problem in about 5 seconds! The last time this happened to me it took hours of tech support and rebuilding my mailboxes. This time I came upon a reference and link to this app while exploring threads online in hopes of finding a fix to my mail problem (Apple Mail no longer receiving any incoming mail and kept 'recovering' an oversized old email with photos.) I purchased the app, and within literally a few seconds, my problem was solved! Thanks MailRemedy creators!

not happy with this one yet - First try out to get my Yahoo account to sync as it has in the past with the mac mail app. I've been unable to get it to accept my yahoo password for some time now, and figured it may have something to do with the large amount of mail I get in that account) So, I get this app and try it out. YAHOO1! it says right away that it's fixed….only it's not. I can't see any difference at all in my mac mail box functioning. And I still can't access yahoo through it. I will give this app more stars if this problem can be fixed.

Worked in 2 seconds!!! - My mail has not worked, or loaded new messages in 4 days. I tried every remedy on any message board I could find, and still just the 'spinning'. I finally find a reccommendation for this app. I buy it, open it, and literally 3 seconds later my mail is totally back to normal.... Thank you!!! (My problem all started when I accidentaly tried to sent a 40+MB email. It totally froze my entire 'Mail' program on my MacBook. Both an @aol and @gmail accounts)

Does Nothing—Waste of 3.99 - Doesn’t recognize any of my IMAP accounts, which is all I use. Has a blank screen with no mail accounts listed. Rebooted twice, waste of 3.99.

Mail Remedy 1.2 - I spent hours trying to delete a massive "Recovered" e-mail that resulted from an attempt to send a large number of pictures through an IMAP server on my university e-mail account (the problem is not just with g-mail). Once I found Mail Remedy, my problem was fixed in less than three minutes, from clicking the "Buy App" button to happily seeing my Apple Mail work perfectly. (In fact, it seems quicker than before.) Well worth $3.99.
