The best of the bunch. - Snappy and easy to use. If you know your way around Gmail's web interface, you'll know your way around this app. I haven't seen any jarring bugs and it seems pretty snappy. The tablet view mode is quite possibly the nicest thing about this app.

Strange desktop issues - I'm using Mac OS 10.8.2 and I'm seeing strange things happening on my desktop when I have this app open. I can't move any icons on the desktop when it's open. As soon as I close it, all is normal. What's up with that? Can't use until there is a fix.

Improvements needed: - A few improvements needed: Moving a message to a folder is quite convoluted. No tool tips. No way to set a color label for a folder, though it recognized my existing colors. How do you create a new folder? Didn’t read all my messages I had in my folders: This is bad! Generally difficult to navigate (tool tips). A button named “Menu” when in Preferences acts as a back button (a menu might be a good thing if there was one). A back button is needed for all the dead ends there are when trying to figure this utility out. Nice start. Not recommended until improved.

Great with a BUG - I notice that when it pops up a notification for a new email, when I click the notification it takes me to MailPop Pro, but doesn't show the new message. It shows a list of old messages. Clearly seems to be a bug. Also, need an option to change update interval. PLEASE fix this bug where MailPop doesn't update it's mail! It pops up message alerts but when you open the app, new mail is not there until you manually hit refresh. I let the computer sit for hours and it still didn't update the apps' mail!

Functional, does the job. May not look great while doing it. - I've been looking for a way to write a quick email without loading up Mailplane or whatever mail app I am prone to be using. MailPop PRO does the trick. One keystroke and bam, I'm writing an email. There's a brief load time but it's barely noticable. I don't know often I need to pull up the mail list - it essentially is a wrapper for the iPhone version of Gmail so keyboard shortcuts don't work - but it's fine. Really, I just needed the keyboard shortcut and quick email. The design is acceptable. Would be better if it felt more Mac/modern and less Win98.

Excellent - This is the third program of its kind I have purchased. This one does it all, including active spell check AND it appears to be stable. Great product.
