This is working on Lion! - After reading the previous reviews I was very reluctant to buy this app. I have been using the previous version for years with hours and hours spent customizing it for my needs, with my clients, charges, services etc. If you have been using this prodouct previously also, you know what I mean. When I upgraded to Lion however, to my horror, I discovered that the version I owned was no longer working :0 I was between a rock and a hard place and could not find any info about if all my data would make it to the upgraded version or what the process was for doing so. I held my breath and pulled the trigger because the alternative was unthinkable. After the download and install I fired it up and was presented with the wizard to set up from scratch, there was no options for would you like to import your previous settings. I clicked through leaving everything blank and hit done to get to the UI where I thought I would try to import my previously backed up data. It was not in the right format. I closed the app and noticed on my desktop a new folder MacFreelance, and it looked like it did have the right stuff in it. So I launched the app again and pointed to that folder to import my data and it worked! So maybe when the new one is installed it automatically exports your old stuff to the desktop, but again there was no mention of this that I coud find anywhere. Thats my experience and I hope this review will be of help to someone. I would encourage the authors to please mention the upgrade process right at the top! Back in bussiness

No Lion Support - The dev team had months to make sure that this program worked with Mac OS X Lion. Now they say they are working on it???!? I cannot invoice my cilents because of their lack preparation.

Still no Lion Support - I would steer clear of this app. When bought through the app store, there is no update for Lion functionality. You are waiting, while people who bought it elsewhere (read: where apple doesn't get a cut) are out printing invoices. Very disappointing.

Review by Not a great design

Very disappointing - Does not work with Lion, which is ridiculous given the amount of time the developers had. The change in invoicing is horrible, I cannot make the invoices work the way I want at all on my Snow Leopard system. They took a good program and made it unusable.

Stay away - After buying the update from 2.x version to be Lion compatible, I am still having to run the program under Snow Leopard on a spare machine because the software is continues to lock up.

Lion users - Since it does not mention anywhere, that this app does not support Lion, I feel as I have been cheated out of my money. There is an update for lion users, but you only get it if you didn't buy the app from apple app store, where I purcased this item from. I want my money back from Apple App store and only because I like this app, I will purchase it directly at Macware site… SHAME ON YOU APP STORE!!! Following... So I asked the App Store support to give back my money and they replied swiftly with an agreement to do so. THANK YOU FOR THAT!!! And then I just downloaded the app from Macware inc. site and now everything is working, including the upgrade :-) So instead of the 1 star that I gave earlier, I am now giving the app 5 stars, because it truly is a great app when it works!!!
