Lunar Calendar gives a quick and easy reference to descriptions and imagery of the current and future moon phases. A unique feature are the descriptions of the 12 moons of the year, which help to give the user a sense of lunar meaning within a broader perspective.Unlike some moon calendars, this application offers an easy to access listing of all coming moon eclipses with diagrams and images to show their expected lunar appearance. Also, this moon calendar, offers brief entries on moon lore and moon deities giving a foundation to understanding the moon through a spiritual context.
These unique features make Lunar Calendar the most uniquely suited application for spiritual seekers interested in the magic of the moon.

Needs Work - I like all kinds of moon calendars so I bought this one, but it is too expensvie for what it does. For example: 1. only works until 2015 but does not say this in the description. 2. can't set to local time -- only universal time 3. only gives info about new and full moons; not 1st and 3rd quarters 4. no rise/set/transit info. Would be better priced at 99 cents unless the developer intends to add some of the features described above.

Set in Universal Time - I would probably give it 3 stars if you could set your own time zone. 4 stars if the price was lower, it just does not give you value per dollar.

Good Attempt - The overall design is cool, don't get me wrong. I mainly bought it for the calender and it shows the full moon dates only under another tab. Would be better if everything was consolidated under the calendar. The lunar deities are ok if your into that, but I olny believe there's one associated, and I could give or take on the moon lore. Could be a lot better for $4.
