Great lighting effects - I use this app for subtle lighting enhancements and to give intriguing visual details. I am not a professional graphic artist, so I can't speak to quality for that level of user, but for the casual photo manipulator, it's perfect. Interface is intuitive, it allows *lots* of tweaking of both the main elements and the associated artifacts, and overall it's really fun to use (so much so that you'll find yourself trying all the options before settling for the one you finally want). My current favorite effects are the Fringe flares, Nuclear Blast, and Electron Streaks. In addition to the main lens flares themselves, there are additional layers of filtering effects called "lens filters" and "lens textures" available, and they really allow a wide range of options to monkey around with. Overall, I'm very happy with the program, and think it was well worth the price.

version 1 needs improvements - Believe me when I say the app concept is great and I’m loving the UI but its lacking some features that are needed for a graphic designer such as myself. • app preferences are greyed out? Is that a BUG? • the ability to export transparent PNG or PSD (you got layers going on) PLS Take a Look at an App by Neatberry 'Fumy' its got layers and transperant export option as well as PSD exporting. • the ability to import a PSD (would be a plus but not a necessity) • support for larger format import and export and finally doc creation exceeding the 72dpi web limit please implement these changes and I will surely change the rating.

a must - Great app and amazing customer support. Nothing I coud find even compares to the interface of this app. The realtime rendering of lights and flares is amazing and is completely customizable. I use this all the time. You can create a flatten image or turn off the base layer and have the lights against black; this is perfect for bringing into photoshop. You can copy and paste it in as well, so that speeds up the process. Great job. A must for image creators.
