Move to trash works (sort of) - I just downloaded this program for some simple voice recordings. It is much easier to use than Garage Band for simple recordings and the files appear to be smaller. Seems to be a perfect solution to my needs. For those who are worried about move to trash not working, don’t worry unless you want to eventually recover the file. I did a little checking and it appears that the audio file is buried deep in a sub-directory in the user home directory. When one clicks “move to trash” the file is apparently completely removed from the computer.

Froze - I was in the middle of conducting an interview and the application froze, in turn causing my computer to freeze. I lost the entire interview and my computer would not work for the next hour.

Good for price - I've been using this to record college lectures presented in a larger lecture hall. There can be quite a bit of background noise but over all quality is good. I don't like that when you delete something it doesn't go to the trash can. WHERE DOES IT GO??? I don't like the idea of 'stuff' hanging out in my computer somewhere. For 99cents it was worth the download.

Good for recording BUT.. - So the app itself is great, voice recording is loud and clear and you can even categorize everything. The price is just right especially since its simple to use. The problem is when I delete a file by clicking "move to trash" it doesnt actually put it in the trash. So if its not in the trash and its not in its original folder where did the file go? I believe there is a chance it gets stored somewhere else in my harddrive which is not cool since I dont have a huge harddrive and a compliation of lectures can take up A LOT of space. They should get this part fixed, but everything else is great and its worth the $0.99.

Use at your own risk - It’s an ok program for JUST making recordings, however it isn’t always reliable. You can get much better for free though. It has no editing, controls aren’t very intuitive, there aren’t very many options at all, and sometimes it just doesn’t want to save your recordings. I just went to hit “stop recording” after the most important lecture of my class and the recording length is 0.00. So, use at your own risk.

Lecture Recorder - I like this app but I don’t like how you can’t pause it and go back to the spot you left off listening to.

Frustrated - I was using this for 2 months. It worked terrific to record my lectures and everything was wonderful. Then without warning, problems. I was sitting in class as usual and noticed that it suddenly recorded a 3 hr lecture in 5 minutes. It picked up maybe a syllable every 30 seconds. I have tried everything to no avail. All emails to support have gone unanswered. Very disappointed.
