Defective!!! - VERSION 2.1: Still disappointing. - After some trial and error the app converted a folder with PDFs into raw text - Database got created - Getting there required some skill. - Searching works, but very slow - the results are extremely primitive - at least I would expect that I can click on a result to get to the corresponding file, to see more details. - The ABOUT box is still empty/useless. - The developer's website doesn't seem to exist. At the current state this app still appears to be an experiment; a test project, a rough proof of concept, but not an application worth $1.99. Why do I even bother? The underlying idea, the vision appeals to me; I would have a need for such an app. One day? Respectfully, Holger VERSION 2.0: This app is useless in its current version (2.0) on my OS X 10.8.4. The ABOUT box has no content, there is no help menu, the developer's website doesn't exist. The UI is anything but user-friendly. After some trial it started scanning pdfs and generating text only files. The database remains empty. It must be an oversight that this app is on the App Store!!!
