Very nice. - Very nice and good looking. The only thing i didn't like is no bookmarks and will not save setting or layout for books. Hope to see them in future.
Totally Broken - I just got this from the app store and tried to open three DRM free EPUB books that I just bought and it won't render any of them. They are added to the library without a problem, but when I try to read them there is no content. Another free app that you shouldn't bother with.

Doesn’t do anything, no error messages, not a bad price though - Doesn’t do anything on macOS 10.11 (El Capitan). I tried to add a couple different ePubs. No error message or anything, it just didn’t load them or do anything. The design looks nice and minimal! Too bad it doesn’t actually do anything! Could use some work on the error messages, apparently, but at $0, not a bad price!
Unintuitive, clunky, and hard to use - Upon using Kitabu for the first time, I was sorely disappointed. There was an error loading an epub, and once it was open, pages were clipped, the cover wrapped to another column, and the provided instructions were inadequate, with the column button alternating between three different options, each buggy and inadequate. Overall, I feel that to a first time user, this application is not user-friendly, and that without a way to snap pages to fit in the screen in a reliable way so that words are actually readable, this application does not perform up to par.
Didn’t work at all - Would not open EPUB book. It opens in iBooks, but not in this app.
