Description:

King's Bounty: The Legend is an adventure RPG with Turn-based Strategy battles. In a fairy tale fantasy world of fearless knights, evil mages, wise kings and beautiful princesses the player controls a hero. Leading their character through the game world, exploring it, commanding armies in battle and accomplishing various quests can mean great reward or huge defeats.

Gameplay is divided into two major sections: adventure mode and battle mode. While playing in adventure mode the gamer controls their character in real-time. With several classes available at the start of a new game, the player moves through the adventure map seeking various treasures, fighting monsters and accomplishing quests tasked to him by the local stewards. Once in battle mode the gamer assumes the role of a war chief, leading his troops in tactical turn-based combat. Battles take place on land or sea, in dungeons or castles or even in some items! The hero himself doesn't participate in the combat, but can assist his troops by casting spells or summoning different creatures.

Features:
- Classic real-time (adventure) meets turn-based (battles) gameplay
- Rich fantasy setting, storyline with a lot of twists and an unexpected ending
- Three types of characters to choose from - Warrior, Paladin and Mage. Each of them with unique characteristics and abilities

Maximum Performance - I've been playing this game for several months now with my Macbook Pro and have not experienced any of the things mentioned below by others. I love playing this game. I'm guessing the difference between my experience and there's has to do with how close your specs are to the minimum requirements. This is a very long game and it will take a while to finish it. A lot of detail went into the development of the game and you can tell during game play. My Macbook has 4 times the memory requirements, along with an i7 processor and a 512mb video graphics card. I think to run this game you need processing power like this to experience it's maximum potential (plus running 10.8). As a test, I played this game on my WildTangent account I have on PC. The PC only has a 256mb video card and the system has 4gb of memory and a 3 year old cpu. It has trouble playing this game. There is a lot of stutter, sometimes you can't see the characters on the challenges and it takes longer to play because the quality isn't all that great. So if you have a computer that has specs similar to my Macbook, you will love this game. If you have specs similar to my PC, you will hate this game.

Not bad, if you could see your troops - There is a bug in the software where your troops are not displaying. Also the enemy is not displayed. Game would be better if you can see what tey are doing. Fix the bug because this game is bo fun to play.

Graphics kill what could be a great game - I think this might be a really great game, but the graphics glitch is too annoying. It's a little more than a glitch really. Basically you can only see a few parts of your units, so you can't really tell what they are. My knights were basically some knee pads and boots, and I couldn't even really describe the rest. It looks like the gameplay would be awesome if they fixed this, but until they do, I would recomend buying it.

Graphics simply do not work - I am running a brand new 2012 macbook pro, and the graphics on this game do not work. This is not a case of a low-end computer not being able to handle the graphics, it is simply bad coding by apple. The game itself (I previously had a PC which ran it just fine) is really good. It is a very long game, and has some repeatability by running different characters. The graphics are attractive.
