Keka is a full featured file archiver, as easy as it can be.
With Keka you can compress as many files as you want in a bunch of formats. Divide files and protect them with a password is now a kids game. Just drop the files you want to compress to the Keka icon in the Dock or the main window.
Also Keka can extract lots of compressed files, from Zip and 7z to Rar archives, even parted ones. Just double click on those files and they will be extracted using Keka, or drop them to the icon in the Dock or the main window.
Compression formats supported:
7z, Zip, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2, DMG and ISO
Extraction formats supported:
RAR, 7z, Lzma, xz, Zip, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2, ISO, EXE, CAB, PAX and more
• Fixed extraction on folders containing an asterisk (Thanks to @TWTMike for the feedback) [issue #67]
• Fixed unrar legacy support on older machines (Thanks to Norm for the feedback) [issue #76]

Support Your Fellow Developer - Keka is available for free from the site, but buying it here in the App Store will help you show the developer your appreciation for creating what is the easiest to use and best designed archive management application for Mac OS X. It lets you work with all of the modern archive types, and does so more elegantly than any of the other applications I've had a chance to try.
NO SUPPORT - Before today I would have given Keka 6 stars. I hate doing this, but you now get only one star because of a total lack of support. I’ll explain. When this product works, it is beautiful in its simplicity and speed. Now it has stopped working (due to El Capitan upgrade? Don’t know). When I try to compress, a progress window goes on forever, saying it’s calculating the time remaining. When I inspect the process Keka7z in Activity Monitor it seems to be examining EVERY FILE ON MY DISK. That’s not the worst part. When I clicked on Keka Support here in Apple’s App Store, I followed the path to manual registration on the Forum page. A registration confirmation (anti-spambot) question asks who won the MotoGP this year? It would not accept Rossi or Márquez, and finally kicked me out for too many tries. Because of this idiotic filter I’m unable to reach Keka tech support.
