Six Stars - I would give JustNotes six stars if it could do one more thing. Simple formatting. I would be happy with bold and underlining. There is no app that comes close to JustNotes. Apple should be ashamed that they haven't already bought this company and morphed JustNotes with TextEdit. TextEdit used to be a simple program that was awesome at what it did, then it started to bloat. JustNotes not only does a better job then TextEdit, it syncs with my iPhone. Notes I write on my phone appear on my Mac and visa versa.

Application no longer maintained. - Application is no longer being maintained and hasn’t been updated in two years. No bug fixes forthcoming, doesn’t take advantage of latest and greatest OS X tech. Better to buy something being being actively maintained.

Solid - Solid, reliable. Works. At least when Simplenote works. Fortunately, Simplenote syncing is becoming reliable again, and their increased resources give me hope they will stay that way. One small wish for JustNotes: I wish I could see my tags, either in a third pane or a separate one. But only when I want to see them. No point in cluttering up such a nice interface. Why? Because I can’t always remember the names of my tages, which means their search window isn’t always enough.

Still my favorite Simplenote client - Still loving this app. I wish the developer would bring back the limited page width in full screen mode. I don't like my notes stretching across the whole screen. I also wish there was a way to list the tags in a third pain that can be hidden. Oh, and the lack of Markdown support and preview takes it down a notch. But, I still think its the best Simplenote client around.

Crashes - This app was working very well for months. However, it now crashes whenever I open it. I emailed the developer regarding the issue, but never received a response.

Many Note-Apps Available--But This Is The One I Use - I first discovered JustNotes a long time ago when I needed a quick and simple-to-use note taker. The GUI was intuitive and smooth. Later when I needed a way to sync notes between computers I found that I already had an app installed that would sync with SimpleNote. Now I use it to sync everything, computers, iPhone, and iPads. I've tried many note taking apps but I always come back to JustNotes. Now with the ability to share notes with others (thru SimpleNote) it does everything I need. My wife and I have some shared notes (such as shopping lists) that either of us can edit on the fly. This is a fantastic tool but it still has the simple, easy to understand, user interface., I recommend that everyone give this one a try!
