Just as fun as iPad - I found the game to be very relaxing and enjoyable. I play the game constantly on the iPad and when I decided to buy it for my Mac I was just as pleased. The graphics are great, the game play is smooth. It's one of the few games I've downloaded that feel complete. The game is billed as a match 3 game with physics, but I wonder if a better description is that it's really a concentration game. Sit down, chill for a while but focus on what you're doing. The coolest thing isn't necessarily that I love to play it, but everyone I show the game to gets sucked in within just a few minutes. It doesn't seem to matter how young or old. Even my 4 yr old daughter can play it and asks to play it. She plays on my iPad because it's easier for her than the mouse. The game also plays with a keyboard very well, but I still prefer the mouse.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....................... - Wow, is this a boring game! If you like slow moving games with spa music, go for it!
Just as cool as Tetris. - I love this game. Sure, it's not as fast as a first person shooter but it's nice and relaxing. My friend showed it to me on his phone and before I knew it I had been playing about 30 minutes. I don't have a phone or iPad or anything but he told me it was available on the Mac if I was interested. I was reluctant but I figured that I pay that much for coffee, so why not. Now, I too get 'sucked in'. Describing the game as boring with spa music is like describing Tetris as dropping blocks with porn music, and Tetris is an undeniable classic. This could easily become one of those classics as well. The cool thing about computers over phones is that, if you don't like the music, you can run iTunes in the background and play whatever you want.
Not the same as the iPad game - I ordered thinking this would be the same game that I love playing on my iPad, but unfortunately it’s not. The marbles drop so slow that it’s like watching paint dry. It also doesn’t have the extra jars. I always play the game with the two gum ball machines, but it's not on this version of the game. On the ipad version you can change the marble colors and designs, and the background scene. The only thing you can change on this version is the volume of the sound effects and music. The aspect ratio is also 4:9 instead 16:9 that’s on the iPad. Glad it only cost $4.99. I guess I will continue to play on my iPad until they upgrade this computer version.
worst choice I made - I love Jar of Marbles on my iPad and iPhone. But decided I wanted it for MacBook also. Biggest mistake. Doesn’t have as many options. The marbles fall in slow motion…and I had to pay separately for this one…after already owning same game for other devices. Don’t download or buy this app. It was a big mistake.
