“Frankly, it blows me away.” Kishore Sawh, SLR Lounge

"As far as ease of use, it is hard to make a simpler piece of software. When you are using the desktop software, you simply drag your JPEG files onto the program and then the JPEGmini Algorithm does its magic, compressing your images and saving you tons of space."
Anthony Thurston, Phoblographer

"JPEGmini is without a doubt the most amazing piece of software I’ve come across since I first used Photoshop 10 years ago. In my opinion, it is essential” Mark Condon, Shotkit

“I found it hard to believe that the software would result in that much space savings, so I opened up the JPEG image on my computer and analyzed the file pixel by pixel. Going back and forth a number of times, I could not see ANY differences in quality”
Nasim Mansurov, Photography life

No artifacts, great compression - I've gotten addicted to this app and have been using it nearly every time I download images from my phone. Even web images that should be already compressed to reduce their size a bit when this is applied. When zooming way in, to where you can see individual pixes, there are only sometimes some noticable changes compared to the original. But at any other magnification level, nobody would ever notice. Even at that high level, it doesn't even look like artifacts, just a little different. It really does work up to 5x compression like they claim.

Changes Caption to advertising themselves ((( - I have been using this app on and off for one year, and i didn’t mind spending $20. To my horror i just discover that this program add a Caption to each photo, modifying the metadata of the photo to something like this. "Optimized by JPEGmini 0x9f8beef6” Been that this is useless information for the viewer of my photos and a change of my capture, it makes this program a one star. The best think you will see it in every website you have post it, and there is no setting to remove it. I raccomend they change it back. It didn’t use to be like that.

I was skeptical, but it just works - When JPEGmini first came out, I couldn’t believe the space savings. Years of use have made it a solid part of my photo export workflow. Very, very happy with the results.
