iTunes support only - Bought this app because I was looking for good mp3 player. This player only supports iTunes and if you looking for player that supports external storage and folders "This is not the Player you are looking for".

It's good… just don't rate it. - Works great. People who expected this to be another player app should have looked at the screenshots. Its a mini player for itunes in your menu bar. Great for using an external keyboard that doesn't have volume buttons on it etc. Only reason it fails to get five stars is becuase the rate me alert ruined the app. Now it wont let me click "later" or rate me. So now its useless? Great.

Very convenient to use, rarely need to open an iTunes window anymore - I had initially been looking for a lightweight music player for when I'm trying to sample something quickly without either firing up iTunes or adding it to my music library. That's when I stumbled upon this app. Not quite what I was looking for (it's more of a controller for iTunes), but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. Was pleasantly surprised by the utility that it adds. I rarely need to open an iTunes window now since it so convenient to search for and play entire albums. Two things would make it even better: 1. I wish clicking on the artist or album names would automatically place them in the search bar showing the entire album or artist discography. 2. Scrolling through search results using the trackpad works well without problems. For some reason though, when I try scolling using my mouse (Logitech Anywhere MX), the scroll event sometimes reaches the background app as well, scrolling whatever page or finder window is there.

Not really a player - This is just an add-on for iTunes with problems, not a player. If I close iTunes first I will then have to force close this app. If your looking for a MP3 player Winamp now has a mac version. It's still in the early stages but more of what I wanted in a player (and it's free).

Has so much potential, but falls flat - Support is unresponsive - Niflty little program. Great interface, but there are issues. For starters, this program causes my iMac to hang when it is open and in the menubar overnight. Secondly, it has a problem where it does not display every album's artwork for display when doing a search. EVERY one of my songs has artwork (I'm very OCD about making sure that everything has proper artwork), and all songs in the same album have the same artwork. Secondly, the support for this product is lackadasical at best. I emailed them four months ago about these issues: Not one response back from them, nor an update to resolve these issues. If you can make due with these limitations (I simply quit the program now instead of leaving it running when I leave for the day and the no artwork is annoying because I know it is there) then the program will be quite sufficient. Just don't expect any support from them. If they fix these issues, then I'll be glad to upgrade my rating.

Broken in iTunes 11 - I've had this application for a couple years now. It worked well in the past, but is now broken in iTunes 11. It will only play one song at a time, even if you hit "play" for an entire album. This lack of functionality renders the application worthless. Support is non-existent, since the support link in the App Store only takes you to a promotional website that highlights features. I will amend my star rating when this is addressed.
