Visible Body’s Human Anatomy Atlas is the most anatomically accurate 3D atlas of the male and female human body, with over 4,600 structures in each model (male and female). This app also includes additional content not included in other 3D anatomy apps: microanatomy models of senses, 3D animated models of muscle actions, skeleton models that detail bony landmarks, maps that show surface area of muscle attachment, and muscle views that pinpoint origin and insertion points.

Human Anatomy Atlas is the worldwide gold standard in Anatomy reference apps. More colleges and universities teach with Human Anatomy Atlas than any other 3D atlas.

What makes Visible Body’s Human Anatomy Atlas the worldwide best-seller?

**Expertly developed and reviewed for accuracy.
Our 3D models and animations are created by biomedical visualization experts with advanced degrees from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Yale University, University of Texas, and others.

Learning anatomy… made perfect - This app is amazing. I'm a medical student and I've been looking for something like this since I started school. I have an enormous amount of respect for atlases like Netter's and Rohen's, but this app makes the process of learning so easy. It's intuitive and simple to navigate. The human body is the most complex piece of life on Earth and they've somehow managed to make "graphical dissections" a breeze. The search feature is golden. Only thing I have to mention is incomplete trackpad function. You can zoom in/out by 2 finger scrolling, but I haven't discovered other supported gestures yet. Also for some reason, click and drag to pan w/ trackpad doesn't work. However, keep in mind that all you have to do is press spacebar and move the mouse to do the same thing. Is it worth it? In my opinion, absolutely.

Don’t waste your money on this garbage! - Purchassed this app to help with my A&P class. What a total waste of money! This will not allow you to get the level of detail that is shown in a college level A&P class. You’re better off buying a basic anatomy book than this app. If there was a way to get a refund I would.

I like it but... - The OS X version of this app needs better trackpad controls. Panning up and down is impossible without using the terrible on screen joy-stick unless I’m missing something. With that said, the iOS version of this app is amazingly good. Great on the go interactive anatomy app for medical students. I appreciate that it is a one time purchase instead of a silly monthly membership.

Lots of errors - I echo some users’ complaints that this isn’t as user-friendly as it used to be — stuttering in pan, not responding to inputs like long-presses consistently, and lack of smooth yet quick navigation. Frustrating enough that I use another app for daily use and only use this for some detail views... which leads me to my title complaint… Look at the profound brachii artery, and the radial nerve in the upper arm, for example. Anyone who has even a basic knowledge of anatomy, can see that this artery and nerve are not illustrated correctly. But this is only one of many, many errors I’ve had to independently comfirm for myself, which negates the need for a free anatomy app, never mind one a paid one. Used to be a great suite of apps to teach and guide my bodywork clients when explaining aspects of their tissue issues. Now I'm using an alternative, until the developer gets their act together.

Great app! - I am currently a grad student, and I have been using this app for a few weeks now. It has really nice detail and is much easier to use than an anatomy atlas. Highly recommend!!
