HotKeys is the Mac companion app for the HotKeys iOS iPad app.
Together with the iOS app, you can send shortcut key commands through to your mac.
It's a pain having to remember shortcuts in an app, so we've made an app where you can simply assign a button a name and short cut. When you press the button it will perform the action on your Mac like magic.

DIONT WORK - IT DOES NOT HAVE HELP and IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO BE CONNECTED TO the IPAD
Doesn't work. Won't connect. - Sees the ipad app but won't connect. Also, you need to be on a wireless network- would be better if you could connect on an ad-hoc network when there is no actual network available.
Works fine for me! - Started the iPad app, installed and started the OSX app, connected. No problem. Now if I could readily find some documentation...
Great app! - First off, I had to connect this through my iPad, not through my Mac. The Mac app found my iPad, but it wouldn't connect. Do this: 1. Download both the iPad and the Mac app. Start both of them. 2. Click the icon in the top left corner of the iPad app. 3. Click the paintbrush-looking icon way at the bottom of the "My Packs" menu that pops out. It's way down below the list and the logo. Not a great place for it. 4. Choose your Mac. Now you're all set. Seriously, this app is fantastic. The default shortcuts include a ton of things that I do all the time, and so this app makes life a lot easier. A word to the devs: It's not intuitive to set up and the lack of in-app instructions doesn't help. You got a good thing going here, but you need to make it easier for people to use.
Does not work - I can't get this to work either. I see my iPad under "clients", but nothing happens. I have it installed on the ipad and the mac. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Do I have to restart? Please respond.
