Love this App! - Was looking for a simplistic version of hearts and found it. I absolutely love this app! If you are a hearts lover then this is the app for you.

Hearts - A very disappointing hearts game especially compared to the Windows version. The program has an incorrect algorithm for dealing cards so that a large proportion of the hands are dealt with a 4-3-3-3 distribution as compared to random chance. In addition the program has no card counting ability. When it had the lead and the six of spades and the queen was the only other outstanding spade, it didn't lead the six. Further, flushing the queen is the basic strategy of all hearts players as it minimizes your chance of winding up with the queen. Only this program doesn't play flush the queen. After figuring out it's quirks like lead high, then low which works with centralized distribution, I found this game very boring, and now my $.99 goes flush down the trash bin.

Want one change - seriously! - I want to not have to lead the queen of spades when all I have left is the queen and hearts. I would prefer the option of leading one of the hearts instead. It really stinks to be forced to take 13 points before I can lead a heart.. 1/12/2017 I was going to write this exact same review as I wrote before. This is much more important than viewing the cards taken by one player (one of your current fixes). This failure in your rules is akin to forcing a defendant to testify against himself during a trial; a true forced violation of one’s self. At least make it an option like the queen of spades breaks hearts. In my over 60 years of playing hearts with family and friends, this computer application is the ONLY time I have EVER seen this forced play of the queen of spades. I can not imagine why you have it set up this way and I am truly dissappointed you failed to fix this in this last round of fixes.

Passing cards needs revamping - (1) Why low spades are passed is beyond me. No one that is a winner passes low spades. Even if you are attempting to shoot the moon, passing of low spades is just a give away of one’s intetnions. I’ve found that when your algorithms pass me low spades, the one passing them is NOT attempting to shoot the moon. I’ve four different applications of HEARTS and none of the others pass small spades. (2) Also, when cards are passed those being received are not on display very long. I should have some time to recognize what was passed and assmilate a strategy as to why they were passed to me. Hold the passed cards to be distinctive until I play my first card on the two of clubs. (3) It would be nice to see both the running scores and the hand scores throughout the game. I dislike having to go to a separate page to see if a heart has been played yet. For some of us that are older our retention is concerning.

My Review - Enjoy the current layout. Do miss the “unDo” in previous versions of similar card games. Helps correct “too quick” mouse clicks.

Fun - Enjoyed this game from the start. Best hearts game I have found to date. Recent changes have made it even better. Addressed annoyances improved the challenges.Even more fun than before. Kudos.
