This is an awesome app - I have used this app on many photos and have had amazing results. The only problem I came across was with some hand held shots I took would not align completely or in some instances one frame would be extremely cockeyed. Before I upgrade to the Pro version I would like to see you add some way to manually align the frames before HDRtist does it's aligning. Great job developers. Keep up the good work.

Plesently surprised, especially because of the price. - My title says it all, I have used MANY different HDR programs on my PC, I finally got a Macso I was trying to hunt down a simple program for when I need to use HDR, this app is VERY simple to use, it is very quick to process the image, and UNLIKE many other expensive HDR programs, what you see in the preview is ACTUALLY what you get when the image has been processed. For free, It's second to none. Try it out, since it is free, you have nothing to loose!

Better than most other expensive apps - The only complaint I have with this app is that it's not been updated for the retina display, which is kindof a disappointment (kindof cuz most of the apps on the mac store haven't and this one's free, so i'm still happy) I think app developers ought to write the max resolution their apps can work with on the app page. So that people with the retina pros don't have to hunt for a retina compatible app on google.

This is a MUST HAVE! - I am a photographer and currently use Photomatix as my HDR program and Photoshop as my primary editing software. I downloaded this HDRtist app just to see what it would do and I am amazed! It downloaded and installed in about a minute and launched perfectly. To create my first HDRtist high dynamic range image, I dropped in a three exposure set of images, (-1EV, even and +1EV), that I have already used in Photomatix and within a few seconds I had an HDR image. The image was definately HDR and VERY sharp! Obviously HDRtist does not have the editing capibilities of an expensive software like Photomatics but HDRtist did allow me to save the image in various formats, (including JPEG), which will let the user edit the image further in any software INCLUDING iphoto for the budding photographers just starting out and learning the photo editing ropes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app! And remember to have FUN!
