The ONLY native listening experience for Pandora Radio on the Mac! No need for a Pandora One upgrade!

• Unlimited Skips*
Unlike Pandora or Pandora One, HD Radio for Pandora altogether removes the skip limit. This means if Pandora keeps serving you music you don't like, just skip away.

• No ads**
Are ads annoying you in the middle of your stream? Don't worry, we have an ad detection system that will skip and remove detected ads from your stream so you don't have to hear them anymore.

• HD Streaming***
No more ordinary 64k AAC+ streams. Leverage your listening experience with 128kbps audio quality. If you're on a public or corporate network, you can also adjust to lower qualities to optimize your experience.

• No Flash player
HD Radio for Pandora is the ONLY native Pandora app on the Mac App Store. While other apps use Web Views that hog CPU, we use the latest networking technologies from Apple that allow for high audio streaming quality as well as low memory consumption.

• No Timeouts
Tired of Pandora timing out? With HD Radio for Pandora, we guarantee you that your stream will continue playing until you close the app.

• Menu bar widget
Conveniently control playback and view the current song directly from the menu bar.

• Customizable shortcuts
Playback can be controlled remotely with global hotkeys!
If you don't like the default shortcuts, you can customize them in preferences.

• Background playback / song notifications
Your stream stays playing even in the background, and the app will even give you a notification when a new song plays (customizable in Preferences).

• No monthly subscriptions
Just download and go. No worrying about Pandora One upgrades. If you already have a Pandora One account, you are better off canceling your subscription and then downloading the app, as HD Radio for Pandora provides you with nearly all or even more features than a Pandora One upgrade.

If you have any feature requests, bug reports, or are experiencing issues with the app, we'd love to help at our support portal: anobot.uservoice.com. We'll try our best to respond to your request as soon as we can.

Disclaimer: A Pandora account is necessary to use the app. An account can be created for free at Pandora.com.

* If you skip too much, Pandora may think you're a bot and ask you to stop making requests for an hour or so. Just make sure to not skip like a bot.
** We use ad detection software to clean ads out of your stream and skip them in real-time under the hood. This method is guaranteed to remove most ads, but it is not fool-proof. If some ads are still getting through, please contact support immediately so we can improve our algorithm.
*** HD streaming is defined by 128kbps quality in the app.

Does not an cannot use the Apple standard media keys. - The Pandora-like user interface is created by the app, so it is a little different than the web app. The biggest issue is that the standard media keys and controls will not work with this app. Bummer.

DO NOT BUY - App has all kinds of problems. Quit unexpectedly, acknowledged an error, then told me to log on….again. Doesn’t recognize the internet connection., It even interrupted my computer shutdown. Unacceptable for any app let alone one you pay $4.99 for.

A Bit Buggy but Holds Promise - I like HD Radio for Pandora One. That said, it only gets 3.5 stars as of this date/version because it's not nearly as stable as the much older “Hermes” under Snow Leopard (which also filters out ads and doesn’t ask if you’re still there every couple of hours). HD Radio for Pandora worked fine for the first day it was installed and then began to freeze up a lot, especially right after launch. It will disconnect as if my Internet is not connected but everything else (web browser) is working fine. I’ve sent a couple of crash reports to Apple. If they can work out the bugs (under El Capitan) I would give it another star.

Not that good… :( - I listen to Pandora alot and had this fantastic little app called Radia for years. I just got a new mac and when I went to download Radia, I found it’s no longer available :(. I have given HD Radio a try over the last week and am pretty disappointed. First, I don’t care about the skips and all that - I just want pandora to play and pause easily. While I like that it runs as a service in the system tray, I can’t access it when in full screen & it does not tie to my pause/play button on my keyboard. Beyond that, thap stays open in my applications, which is annoying - it’s just another icon. I have experienced several crashes as well. I’d like my money back (as well as my Radia player…).

What a let down! - App worked fine for a few days but then refuses to open with a message that it "can’t complete operation”. Nothing about improper log in info. Emailed HD Pandora support, but have yet to hear from them. A waste of money unless Anobot can fix this. Apple should be on their case big time.
